Dr. William Sears

Dr. William Sears is one of America’s most renowned and beloved pediatricians, and has been practicing pediatric medicine for over 30 years. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and a fellow of the Royal College of Pediatricians (RCP). In addition, Dr. Sears is a medical and parenting consultant for BabyTalk and Parenting magazines. A father of eight, he is also the author of over 30 books on pregnancy, child rearing and child care, including The Pregnancy Book, The Birth Book, The Successful Child Book, 25 Things Every New Mother Should Know and Father’s First Steps. He has also written on the subject of healthy nutrition for the entire family in The Family Nutrition Book. Over the years, Dr. Sears has appeared on more than 100 television programs such as 20/20, Donahue, Good Morning America, Oprah, CBS This Morning, CNN, NBC's Today Show and Dateline.
