I've tried alot of protein powder supplements and this is by far one of the best. The taste, quality, and ingredients are excellent. alot of my friends are just starting to get healthy and they tend to use other brands and are getting kind of sick of the taste and texture whereas I've been using this one for more than a year and I still love it. Plus I've looked at the ingredients on theirs and it reads like a typical multivitaming. I love that this contains phytonutrients. I also only need about half a scoop with my morning veg and fruit smoothie so it's lasted a long time.

I use this product in shakes. I like that I can get a good source of protein and some calories from something other than whey protein. It really bulks up a shake and leaves me feeling full. This stuff does not mix well. Spoons and whisks are no match for this hefty powder, you need a blender. It isn't artificially flavored so it tastes a lot like rice and bread flour. It isn't a bad flavor, it just takes some getting used to, especially if you don't plan on adding other things to make the flavor different.

Comments about the Vitamin Shoppe 100% Soy Protein with Phytonutrients - 32 Ounces Powder:

I love this protein powder since I stay away from dairy and the soy is GMO free. There is 0 grams of sugar in it and I like the idea of adding photo nutrients into my diet. There is no flavor with this protein powder leaving me able to add what I want. Love to put cinnamon into it.

Comments about the Vitamin Shoppe 100% Soy Protein with Phytonutrients - 32 Ounces Powder:

I have only used this product for a short while, but I believe it does the job I intended. I drink approximately 3-5 healthy smoothies a week. They usually contain coconut water, a dark leafy veggie, fruit, berries, 2 scoops of 100% SOY PROTEIN powder and ice. I blend thoroughly in a GOOD blender for approx. 2-3 mins. and I'm good to go for hours. I use as a snack or occasional meal replacement.

Comments about the Vitamin Shoppe 100% Soy Protein with Phytonutrients - 32 Ounces Powder:

I've been using organic powders like this for years and I notice a huge difference in energy and stamina levels whenever I've been off it for a while. People always ask me what I eat to stay fit and I recommend this. It's a quick lunch/brunch/snack mixed with juice and veggies or smoothie. When I train a lot or have to recover from illness/surgery this is my life saver. For real. I can leave out all dairy and mix it with spinach frozen blueberries, carrots, flax seed and fruit for a real energy booster. For those who dislike the grittiness in powders, try using banana in your mix to make it smoother. (You can always freeze 1/2 bananas in sandwich bags to throw in the blender) Or use yoghurt, soy or almondmilk, peanutbutter, banana and raw cocoa powder for workout days. The phytonutrients is an extra plus for when you don't want to mix in veggies. Awesome value, great natural taste and ORGANIC and DAIRY free!! You can't go wrong with this ppl, this is an amazing product for all ages and activity levels. This is my (not so secret) weapon to staying fit and healthy ;) Best wishes!

Comments about the Vitamin Shoppe 100% Soy Protein with Phytonutrients - 32 Ounces Powder:

I have been taking the Vitamin Shoppe Soy Protein every morning for a few years and I feel stronger and I have more energy. I recently had a full hip replacement. I asked my friend to make sure I had my Soy Protein to wake up to in the hospital. She had it there and I took it right away. The protein helped me get strength right away after the operation and I was able to come home the third day! I didn't go to an outpatient place, I just came home. Within one week I didn't need any help getting to the potty chair and in and out of bed. Within three weeks, I was making my own meals. I believe in the Soy Protein with phytonutrients and I believe it gives me xtra strength to do things that I wasn't sure I could after having the hip surgery!

I add 2 scoops of this to Spirutein every morning and sometimes have it at night with Splenda and vanilla. I have also used it in smoothies. It's a great supplement.

Tastes very good and it's a big help in losing weight when it replaces a meal (lunch).

What is the taste like? I usually get a vanilla flavor in powdered protein drinks.

Best Answer: I add this to fruit smoothies (to reduce the sweetness), blended vegetables (for added protein), or to smooth out other 'blended' items.

My primary use for this product is in fruit smoothies. The other items give it the flavor. Otherwise, it tastes like a modified soy - pretty much like a soy powder without the added flavoring (one COULD add chocolate, berries - strawberries or blueberries or raspberries or boysenberries, bananas, etc.).
