    Causing acne??

    By Jann

    from California

Comments about the Vitamin Shoppe AHCC 500 MG - 30 Capsules:

After an abnormal pap and testing positive for high risk hpv, my gyno suggested this. I've been battling random acne breakouts for the past year and noticed it got a bit worse when I started ahcc, although didn't notice the correlation immediately.

After about a month, I ran out of Ahcc and didn't reorder right away. I ran out around the same time I was put on doxycycline and onexton for acne treatment. Within that month I saw great improvements with my acne. I finally got around to purchasing more Ahcc, about a month after not taking it (same month my acne improved greatly) and within a few days my acne got worse again! I was still taking my acne meds so this confused me. Nothing in my routine or diet changed except re-introducing Ahcc. Still didn't relate the acne to Ahcc. Then I really went back to the only thing that had changed before my acne got worse was I started re-taking Ahcc. I went back to my order history so I could better estimate when I started taking Ahcc and when I stopped and then restarted again. All the dates coincide perfectly with my increased acne breakouts.
After figuring out it may be Ahcc causing my increased acne, I stopped taking it again and Caught a cold. My skin was improving and I still had my doubts that acne and Ahcc
We're related so I started taking it again to help with my cold. Within days, acne got worse! I am now 100% convinced they are related, at least for me.

I can not find a single thing online relating the two, so I wanted to post this in my review incase someone might be searching for answers like me. I do believe Ahcc is amazing for immune health and I wish I could keep at it to help my hpv infection, but I can't risk my acne worsening. My self esteem is so shot due to all the bumps and marks on my face.

Comments about the Vitamin Shoppe AHCC 500 MG - 30 Capsules:

The company post that you are purchasing 1000mg. When you get the bottle it's only 500mg and they instruct you to take 2 capsule x 3. I was highly disappointed of the false advertisement of the product. I called customer service and made them aware of the misleading information. All she can do is just tell whoever is in charge to fix it.

    Cleared HPV

    By AJ

    from Tampa, FL

Comments about the Vitamin Shoppe AHCC 500 MG - 30 Capsules:

After 2 years of abnormal pap smears, frustration, and fear I finally came across an article about AHCC. After only THREE months of regular use my pap finally came back normal. It could've been the virus just running it's course, but I believe this had a hand. I go back for my repeat and April and hope to still be clear.

Comments about the Vitamin Shoppe AHCC 500 MG - 30 Capsules:

I had been diagnosed with breast cancer in 2002. I had chemo for 8 months but did not take any medication. My sister suggested for me to take AHCC which is a new version of what I had been taking before AHCC but it has been banned. I had been taking AHCC since 2002 and I would like to continue taking it since it's obvious that AHCC has done a miraculous job of curing me of cancer without taking any medication!

Since 2007 I have been a regular customer of Vitamin Shoppe on this particular product. I am a breast cancer stage II survivor, first the Lord Jesus then this AHCC that was introduced by a friend of mine. Up to now I am healed and well. AHCC has been a big part of my healing and strength. I didnot undergo chemotherapy nor radiation. Anyone who has cancer, try this and you'll never regret it. Thank you vitamin shoppe. More power and God bless you.

People with CLL have shown that taking AHCC show a lower WCBC than people who do not take the supplement. We purchase AHCC from the Vitamin show because it has a high quality and high dose product for a non chemotherapy, alternative treatment to Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia.

Used the 500 mg and it seems to work against chronic leuocytic lukemia. I000 mg means half the number of capsules per day.

Have you used this for getting rid of HPV and/or venereal warts? If so did it work, what strength of capsule, how often and how long did you you take it for to get rid of the virus? Thanks
          trevor b on Jan 18, 2015
Best Answer: I only use it to strengthen my immune system. It works well for this as I work at a sewage treatment plant and I rarely get a cold much less anything else.

Is this the same quality of AHCC as the other more expensive brands? and does it come from Japan?
A Vitamin Shoppe customer on Jul 22, 2015
The picture of the bottle says 500mg, but the information and the title both say 1000mg. Which one is it? Anyone order this online?
          Melissa C on Feb 21, 2015
Best Answer: Each pill is 500mg but the serving size is 2 pills... so in total, it is 1000mg.

Why does it say 'Ahcc 1000 MG (30 Capsules)' in the title but 'AHCC 500 MG 30 Capsules' on the bottle? What is it, 500 or 1000MG?
