- Liquid Fast
This product is wonderful, does the job,and is worth the money. I have used this product for the past few months to fast at least one day a week if not two, and then back to a high protein/low carb program for the rest of the week.
The weight is coming off slowly and regularly as it should - 35 lbs to date with 17 more to go to reach ideal. I prefer to sweeten the product with a little bit of artificial sweetener, a touch of vanilla extract, and a little cinnamon. I sometimes will add a little fruit as well. The product is always blended with fresh water. Very tasty and satisfying with 3 shakes a day supplemented with V-8 low sodium juice, tea, and my daily vitamins.

- Weightloss Plateau
FIrst and foremost, I'd like to say that this is a completely honest account of my experience with this product. I weighed in at about 190 lbs at one point, I exercised it off to 160 lbs, and between 160-155 lbs, I had a lot of trouble loosing the extra weight and reaching 140 lbs. My next step was to try something new.
I found Almased online after doing tons of research. I was completely skeptical and uncertain about the product, but I decided to try it. It is important to follow all of the guidelines in order to be successful. It is important to stay focused, stay on track with the steps, portions, and so forth. Using this as a method of cleansing, to jump start your metabolism is absolutely great, plus it works!
I drank about 4, 8-10oz shakes of Almased daily. Every day I was literally loosing a pound. Drinking Almased kept me full, completely satisfied, and diminished many of my cravings. The longer I did it for, the more determined I was to be successful. After seeing results so quickly, I decided to commit to Almased for a minimum of 10 days, and I lost a total of 8-10 lbs. I broke over the plateau and succeeded in loosing the weight intended.
I definitely recommend it. It works just as long as you follow the instructional guide. It also helps to read other reviews and watch videos on peoples' experiences with the product to see how it works for everyone and what people do differently or similarly as a guiding tool, but generally, the instructional guide should be your source of guidance.

- Mixed Well Kept Me Full
- Tasted good
- Bloated My Stomach
- Gave Me Stomach Ache
- Left Metallic Taste
almased mixed up great in my bullet with unsweetened almond milk. added flax and chia seeds, a lil olive oil and some walnuts. tasted fabulous, consistency was palatable and it left me satisfied. the down side, which was a big one, was it left me with a metallic taste in my mouth and my stomach and bladder in complete upheaval. there's a ton of added vitamins and minerals in this that overwhelmed my body. (especially the potassium and iron) all of that is not needed. it also contains dairy. a note for anyone who is sensitive. i would love the product if it was just not over packed with extras

It's pretty much up to you on how you want to drink the shake. If you are looking to lose a significant amount of weight in two weeks, drinking the shake as a meal replacement will help. Which means that the only thing you can eat is a serving of vegetables preferably vegetable soup in a liquid form made from fresh vegetables and not the can soup. If you prefer drinking one shake for breakfast, eat a sensible lunch and have another shake for dinner, that's fine but the weight lost is not going to be rapid compared to just doing a three shakes as a meal replacement. Good Luck!!

This DOES work... ts rough the first few days getting your body used to a liquid diet. As far as the taste, I usually add some cinnamon to mine and it tastes just fine, you can try adding vanilla or almond extract to "season", also, I used unsweetened vanilla soy or almond milk- make a HUGE difference compared to water... With this diet, you'll need to go a full week of nothing but Almased for your 3 meals, no snacking- when you do get the urge to snack, I suggest having a V8 (low sodium).. and also supplementing with flaxseed oil... on your second week, I would recommend having almased in the AM, a small lunch (salad, chicken, or fish), and for dinner back to almased... in addition to that, you gotta work out... even if its just going to a speed walk, I came down 10 pounds so far and this is heading into my 4th week.. dont give in to cheating or snacking, this will help your body level out and get your metabolism jump started... remember to drink plenty of water and stay hydrated...
