I have before me a bottle of Green Tea Aubrey shampoo from a past order and a bottle of Green Tea Aubrey shampoo from an order just received. The "old" Green Tea with its strong pleasing scent has been a long time favorite. The "new" bottle of the same name just received has been weakened somehow and smells like ginger ale! Why must a good thing always be changed?

Most of my family simply shampoos with castile soap, but one son who has oily hair cannot. This product is great for oily hair. It gets it very clean.

Comments about Aubrey Organics Green Tea Shampoo - 11 Fluid Ounces Liquid:

I used this product (along with Green Tea Cream Rinse) for the first time today for clarifying purposes, and I must say, I am very pleased with it. I have been looking for a natural shampoo/conditioner in order to get away from the all too common lauryl/laureth sulfates, and this is certainly the clarifying shampoo for me. The shampoo smell is not over powering and it lathers better than some other natural shampoos I've tried. After use, I did my normal curly girl "plopping" routine (ladies, if you have curly or wavy hair, look into this method immediately, it'll change your life!) and afterward let it air dry and my normally frizz prone hair was not frizzy at all and was extremely light weight!
I'll be honest, I'm not crazy about the way the conditioner smells, but I will say it's not terrible, or unbearable, and doesn't stick around in your hair too much. Plus, since I'm only using this shampoo/cond combo for clarifying, I only have to deal with the smell every so often when my hair needs it (my regular shampoo/cond smell much better)! I'll be recommending this to my peeps!

Gently removes build-up and leaves hair soft and shiney. I alternate this shampoo with Blue Camomile and I really like them both and have used Aubrey for many years.

I've been using Aubrey Green Tea Shampoo for years because it is the best shampoo I've found for my oily scalp and fine hair. It is light, does not weigh my hair down, and a little goes a long way.
