Comments about the Vitamin Shoppe Vitamin C 1000 MG - 300 Softgels:

I have been taking this brand for the past 4yrs. Tablets give my stomach a form of acid reflux. Ever since I switch to this bad boy -- am sailing. Empty or on a full stomach there is no discomfort in digestion. Am hook for life and my regiment is never without it. -

Comments about the Vitamin Shoppe Vitamin C 1000 MG - 300 Softgels:

I prefer to take Vitamin C with meals throughout the day and at night during cold/flu season. Being able to spread out the dose throughout the day is a benefit for me. I don't mind the C-1000 labeling. You should read and understand the label of every supplement/vitamin being purchased to make sure it meets your needs!

Love the product, do not like misleading label. I agree with other protesters. One softgel is 500mg The label should read 500mg, not 1000mg. Other products of yours are labeled correctly, why not this?

Your avg customer rating on 4 reviews is also misleading. After reading the reviews, 1 was good, 3 were complaints. That doesn't rate a 3 star rating in my book. Unless you are figuring the way our Government does, and then you should give yourselves a 5 star rating. Also the problem still exists as of 2/26/2012.

This is one of the few criticisms I've had with Vitamin Shoppe in the 20 years I've been a customer. The label says C-1000. Turn the bottle around and you'll say that you have to take two tabs to equal 1000. Each tab is 500 mg. Why not say 500mg on the front of the label?

I totally agree with you, except I believe this isn't border line deceptive but that is deceptive. Apparently V S doesn't care because your review was written on 11/26/10, and todays date is 2/26/2012

We purchase this thinking it was only (1) softgel contained 1000 mg. You have to take (2). Misleading, but we still take it for the ease of the softgels.

We take this product and do like it. I bought thinking it was one softgel also. Definately misleading. We do still take (2) to get the 1000 mg
