Natural relief v. Rx meds for migraines!

By ELF110

About Me Chronic Migraine Sufferer, Health Conscious

Pros

  • Easy On Stomach
  • Easy To Swallow
  • Effective
  • Good Value
  • Simple To Take

Cons

    Best Uses

    • Daily Use
    • Migraine Management

Comments about Vitamin Shoppe Feverfew (380 MG) - 300 Capsules:

I was taking several prescription meds to manage chronic migraines. I was still getting migraines (1-3 times per week!), and they were always a pain rating of 7+ on a pain scale of 1 (lowest pain) to 10 (highest/debilitating pain). I decided to stop adding potentially-damaging meds to my routine and go with vitamin therapy instead. Best decision! I use these 380 mg Feverfew tablets once a day, combined with 400 mg of Magnesium Glycinate and 400 mg of B2 (riboflavin). I also take the VS daily multivitamin once a day. This regimen has been working SO much better than the prescriptions! I still use a triptan to get rid of migraines when I get them (much less frequently and much less painful now!), but I feel so much healthier - and happier - using this product along with the other vitamins. I would highly recommend that migraineurs looking for a healthier way to manage their condition try Feverfew.

Comments about Vitamin Shoppe Feverfew (380 MG) - 300 Capsules:

I used to have daily headaches, and was advised to take this as a preventive treatment. In order for it to be effective, it must be in freeze-dried form which this particular brand is (Vitamin Shoppe) and taken daily. When I skip a few days my headaches return, in my case with migraines. Very effective product for me.

Feverfew does not work with my headache

Comments about Vitamin Shoppe Feverfew (380 MG) - 300 Capsules:

I took this for headache prevention but for me it did not work. This does not mean it would not work for you: herbs, like prescription drugs, work for some, not for others. Feverfew has a reputation for working for some, not all.

Comments about Vitamin Shoppe Feverfew (380 MG) - 300 Capsules:

Been using imported quinine for pain due to my decaying GI Tract. Next to impossible to get as outregulated by FDA. Tried this product from another source end of summer(switched to V/S brand) and it appears to be working quite nicely. Reduction in pain, healing my tract? too soon to tell. The Q was supposed to, but NO results there in 4 years, perhaps healing properties processed out thanks to our meddelsome gov't. So much for health care. FevFew supposedly is the North Am. equviant to the RainForest Quinine.
