is this a softgel capsule or a hard pill? had gastric bypass solid hard pills do not break down in stomach
A Vitamin Shoppe customer on Jul 14, 2014
Best Answer: It's been a while since I've used these, but I believe they are softgels. They did not work if I did not take enough Vitamin C with them (true of all iron). Ultimately, I ended up using Vitamin Shoppe Active-C (Vit C with ascorbates) and cooking with my iron pan and no longer need iron. Since you can't take hard pills, maybe EmergenC or one of the other Vitamin C liquid formulas plus cooking with an iron pan will work for you.
