If I drink this, will it trigger migraines/headaches?
      Jacqueline O on Nov 20, 2012
Best Answer: JACKIE, YOU MAY EXPERIENCE HEADACHE AT FIRST IF YOU ARE SENSITIVE TO INTRODUCING SOMETHING NEW IN YOUR DIET.

AT FIRST, I THINK THAT I MAY HAVE EXPERIENCED A LITTLE HEADACHE THE FIRST TIME. BUT IT WAS TEMPORARY. MACA DOES INCREASE ENERGY AND WILL KEEP YOU GOING AND YOU WILL DELIGHT IN THIS PRODUCT.

TRY IT AND SEE. VITAMIN SHOPPE BRAND IS REALLY AT A BARGIN PRICE TO ME. THE FIRST I HAD WAS CONSIDERABLE HIGHER FROM ANOTHER SOURCE.

I was told on the Nutri-blast blog that Maca Powder is good for fatigue, yet I see nothing about which vitamins, minerals, etc in the Supplement facts. I would also like to know before I purchase it if it is organic?
I have diabetes 2, liver problems, Fibromyalgia, and thyroid issues that all contribute to fatigue.
In help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Valerie
      Valerie V on Apr 8, 2013
Best Answer: Though I cannot speak for this particular brand, maca is almost always grown organically, as the root is naturally repellent to pests. In fact maca may be grown in between rows of other crops that might otherwise attract pests, in order to protect them in bio-organic farming.
