Comments about Lily Of The Desert Aloe Vera - 16 Fluid Ounces Gel:

The taste is the most important part and it's pretty darn good. Not the best I've ever had but for this price, I'm a happy girl. I love adding it to smoothies, lemonade and tea. It has helped my husband's indigestion quite a bit.

I also use it to wash fruits and vegetables, especially anything that has a wax or is the on the Dirty 13 list.

I plan to try it in my homemade body lotion and creams soon.

I haven't given this brand to my kids yet. I prefer to test it for a couple months before I do.

      Terrific buy for the price

Comments about Lily Of The Desert Aloe Vera - 16 Fluid Ounces Gel:

I use this aloe vera gel in my homemade lotion. It is a large bottle for a small price. I love that there is plenty left over to apply to burns or to use to just soothe skin. I wish the product was a little more gel like, the consistency is more on the liquid side. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.

I used this to make my own shampoo and conditioner, and I love it, especially considering how difficult it is to find pure aloe vera.

Comments about Lily Of The Desert Aloe Vera - 16 Fluid Ounces Gel:

I have seborrheic dermatitis on scalp and face. I use a little bit of the aloe vera gel and open 3 capsules of neem leaves, stir and then apply to my scalp. Leave it on for at least an hour and then shampoo. This relieves the symptoms of SD so well. Once a week I also mix 1/2 teaspoon of fuller's earth clay, 1 teaspoon of aloe vera gel and 1 capsule of neem, stir and use as a face mask. I leave it on my face until it's dry, then wash off. Face is nice and brighter (fades blemishes) and helps control SD symptoms. No irritations. This aloe vera gel is so inexpensive. I highly recommend giving it a try. :)

Can this help with thinning hair?
A Vitamin Shoppe customer on Feb 21, 2014
Best Answer: In all my years of using this product, I would not say that it can help with thinning hair.It is acidic and that strengthens the hair because it stabilizes the pH of our hair, which is acidic.
