      Neem Oil destroys ringworm

      By Natural remedy lover

      About Me Health Conscious

      Pros

      • Clears Up Ringworm
      • Effective

      Cons

      • Bad Odor
      • Smells Like Rotten Peanut

      Best Uses

Comments about Natures Alchemy Neem Seed Oil - 1 Fluid Ounces Liquid:

With medical gloves (so as not to get ringworm under fingernails and spread it to others) we smeared this Neem Oil directly onto a bad case of ringworm (rings spreading all over the legs and to the the rash that was more ringworm that was growing and spreading) we saw incredible improvement from the very first application of the neem oil. We applied three times daily using a fresh pair of gloves for each application.

YES it smells awful but it WORKS amazingly fast.

Within a few days, the tiny pinprick looking rash cleared up completely rather than continue to get worse. The most advanced ring which was also the most firey red with a raised ring was significantly less red and the ring began fading overnight from the very first neem application.

Additionally we put fresh sheets on the bed daily to stop the spread of the fungus. We drizzled the neem oil onto a throw away plastic dish before application to the skin, so that we did not contaminate the dropper or the outside of the bottle with the fungus. We washed the clothes with vinegar and borax in as hot of water as the fabric could be washed and used the dryer to kill any remaining fungus.

We made sure that anything that touched the ring worm was washed to stop the spread. Including furniture. If the fungus was scratched the hands and nails were washed well. If the ringworm touched an object the object was sanitized. We militantly made sure that we super cleaned everything that possibly came into contact with it. I read that ringworm being a fungus could sit on fabric, such as a bedspread or a couch for a year and still spread when some unsuspecting person with a cut or itchy bug bite came into contact with the fungus that they could then be infected with a new case of ringworm. We cleaned the tub with vinegar between baths so that someone else would not get it.

Jock itch, athlete's foot, and ringworm are all types of fungal skin infections known collectively as tinea. They're caused by fungi called dermatophytes that live on skin, hair, and nails and thrive in warm, moist areas.

Symptoms of these infections can vary depending on where they appear on the body. The source of the fungus might be soil, an animal (most often a cat, dog, or rodent), or in most cases, another person. Minor trauma to the skin (such as scratches) and poor skin hygiene increase the potential for infection.

This neem oil began to work immediately. Depending on your case and how advanced it is neem oil could take days to a couple of weeks to do it's full magic.

Comments about Natures Alchemy Neem Seed Oil - 1 Fluid Ounces Liquid:

Neem oil didn't help to control my acne and the oil scent is indeed offensive. However, it worked well as a hair dressing. My hair looked healthly and raidient when I applied a few drops with fingers to my already styled hair. But, I sprayed my hair with a little perfume afterwards. Try masagging a little sesame oil to acne break out. It's a healing oil.Work on the root cause of acne flare ups. Start watching for food allergy and pay attention to fruits and vegetables that can cause acne breakouts.

Comments about Natures Alchemy Neem Seed Oil - 1 Fluid Ounces Liquid:

I read in Women's Health Magazine that applying Neem Oil on acne as spot treatment works as the oil kills the bacteria. So decided to give this a try and to my surprise it actually dried out the acne overnight. I am from India where we use Neem for a variety of ayurvedic purposes so I don't really mind the smell. But for those not familiar it could be a little too much. I definitely would not recommend using it mixed with lotion, moisturizer etc during normal daily activities as the smell would still come through.

I have been experiencing sore hard itchy scalp w/o dandruff or hair loss(except for me picking my hair out but it grows back fast). I am looking for something to soothe, and moisturize my scalp permanently. The Neem seed oil does soothe my scalp and causes my head to sweat which is good. However, the smell is bad. While I am getting used to it my husband is not LOL!

Comments about Natures Alchemy Neem Seed Oil - 1 Fluid Ounces Liquid:

I used this oil once on my face, and the scent bothered me all day. I will not continue to use until I find something to cut the scent, seriously the smell is horrible...it really smells bad. It makes tea tree oil smell like perfume in comparison.

I have read that tea tree oil will help to balance the smell.

You may want to try mixing this with a couple drops of tea tree oil. I've read that it will help to balance the smell.

yes the smell is horrific but neem is amazing...it helps with hair and scalp, acne, psoriasis, skin spots....its great stuff. you can cut it with a carrier oil like olive, jojoba, avocado, orange oil, etc.
