Comments about Natures Gate Aloe Vera Shampoo - 18 Fluid Ounces Liquid:

I use the nature's gate aloe vera shampoo and this is the perfect compliment. My very curly hair requires a very good conditioner that doesn't make my hair oily or bogged down with chemicals. I use this conditioner and my hair stays soft and curly without getting itchy. I love this product.

Comments about Natures Gate Aloe Vera Shampoo - 18 Fluid Ounces Liquid:

A few years ago, I went into Super Supplements and asked what shampoo the staff loved. And they pointed me to this shampoo. I have used it ever since and loved it. I have very curly hair and before this my scalp often itched because of shampoo products. Not so with this one. I do find it works best with the accompanying conditioner - the aloe vera one.

Comments about Natures Gate Aloe Vera Shampoo - 18 Fluid Ounces Liquid:

BUYER BEWARE....This product will leave your hair dry, despite claims of being sulfate-free. Even though my knowledge of chemistry is limited, the ingredients (touted as herbal derived) seem to damage the cuticle. I even used the accompanying conditioner but this proved futile. I decided to give the benefit of the doubt and try the shampoo a few more times, but my hair's condition only worsened, resulting in hair loss. I repeat I would not recommend this product.

I better alternative is Nature Gate's other shampoo type, Herbal Daily Cleansing Shampoo (NX-1023 / 1167372). Although it contains sodium laureth sulfate, it is MUCH milder and seems to better nourish the hair. The accompanying conditioner is effective, but just use a few drops; it has the tendency to over-condition the hair and leave behind a weighed-down appearance.

aloe vera is the best thing ever is good for just about anything it heals just about anything, it healed my son's fistula, so I chose it for my hair since the product I use on my hair will rinse on my body and other shampoos sometimes gives me pimples on my back since they contain too much conditioner.
