Nature's Life DGL Chewable are deglycyrrhizinated, since the natural glycyrrhizin in licorice may cause increase in blood pressure and water retention.

Comments about Natures Life Chewable DGL Licorice - 100 Chewable Tablets:

I am chewing one capsule of DGL Licorice before each meal and at bedtime. I am recovering from a bleeding stomach ulcer, and this is really soothing. I am also taking L-Glutamine (Jarrow- 1000 mg.), raw ACV (Bragg's), raw honey, and colloidal silver, all available on this website. All are helping, but I really do see the most relief with the DGL Licorice and L-Glutamine. I'm not completely healed, but I am a lot better. I also do best with a vegetarian diet.

Recommendation to use DGL chewable licorice tablets for acid reflux by Dr. Weil. These have lower sugars than the others, and on a low carb diet that is important.

      I have GERD

I take DGL daily to maintain a healthy digestive system. I also find that the rare times I get indigestion, DGL will resolve it better than antacids. I like this brand because it is sugar free and I've never had problems with the tablets being rancid. The bottles I receive in the mail always have an expiration date a couple years in the future.

Helps with indigestion. Calms the stomach when trying to figure if too much acid or alkaline.

Does this licorice interfere with warfarin medicine and is this licorice good for constipation?
A Vitamin Shoppe customer on Feb 28, 2015
Best Answer: Warfarin (Coumadin) interacts with LICORICE

Warfarin (Coumadin) is used to slow blood clotting. The body breaks down warfarin (Coumadin) to get rid of it. Licorice might increase the breakdown and decrease the effectiveness of warfarin (Coumadin). Decreasing the effectiveness of warfarin (Coumadin) might increase the risk of clotting. Be sure to have your blood checked regularly. The dose of your warfarin (Coumadin) might need to be changed.
