Comments about the Vitamin Shoppe No Flush Niacin 500 MG - 100 Capsules:

The absolute best weapon against depression and anxiety that I have found! Just as effective as regular Niacin (for depression anyways) but without the flush. A high dosage is the key; I take about 3000mg a day. I've never experienced any side effects. It's a great alternative to the garbage that doctors prescribe to treat depression and is more effective than any other natural remedy that I've found.

I need to take Nyacin to lower my triglycerides. My dr said that it may cause flush on my face. But then I found this one and it works great. No flush.

what does hexaniacinate mean ? also what does no - flush mean?
A Vitamin Shoppe customer on Jul 31, 2013
Best Answer: Hexaniacinate is the form of niacin used in the capsule to allow for the slow release of niacin to avoid the flush that normally comes from niacin preparations. "No-flush" means none of the burning, itching sensation that results from niacin release in your system.

I'm a woman of a certain age and occasionally experience hot flashes. For my gentlemen friends who don't get what a hot flash feels like, I like to suggest to them to take Niacin as is. Think sunburn and poison ivy rash and chicken pox all at once! Even the "extended release" varieties can result in "the flush." Only the flush-free or No-Flush labels can be trusted due to the inositol hexaniacinate used.

People often tell me that no flush niacin kills the fat cells. If marijuana sticks to the fat cells, does that mean its cleaning my system out of the drug too?
