THE BIGGER PICTURE OF OATS & WHEY
Oats and Whey are fundamental elements of an athlete's diet. Naturally low in sugar, oats supply slow-burning complex carbohydrates and hunger-filing dietary fiber. Whey proteins are readily digested and provide considerable amounts of essential amino acids (EAAs) - especially the three branched chain amino acids (BCAAs). Our Natural 100% Oats & Whey combines the benefits of these nutritional powerhouses in a smooth, drinkable shake that's quick to prepare - and equally easy to clean up after. Each serving packs in 24 grams of all-whey protein and as much fiber as a big bowl of oatmeal. Better yet, it tastes great, so it goes down easy. As the name suggests, Natural 100% Oats & Whey is free of artificial flavors, sweeteners, and synthetic colors. So naturally, it's great for breakfast, after workouts, and any time that you're looking for an on-the-go-meal.

    Directions
Natural 100% Oats & Whey is instantized, so it always mixes up easily. Simply add 1 heaping scoop of Natural 100% Oats & Whey to a blender, shaker cup, or glass filled with 6-8 ounces of cold water or milk. Then blend, shake, or stir for 20-30 seconds or until powder is dissolved. Consume approximately 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight per day. you can achieve this through a combination of high protein foods and protein supplements. For the best results, consume your daily protein allotment over several small meals spread evenly throughout the day.

Comments about Optimum Nutrition 100% Natural Oats and Whey - 3 Pound Powder:

I was pretty skeptical when I first purchased this. I've tried a few different brands of protein powder before and they all sucked. This one is by far the best. I mix the chocolate powder with about 6 oz of fat free milk and it tastes just like a milkshake. It gives me that full feeling I want when I sub the shake for lunch. There is a bit of an after taste but anyone that drinks protein shakes knows there is no avoiding this. It does separate pretty quickly so a blender bottle is definitely essential. Other than the taste I like this product so much because there are no artificial sweeteners and the ingredient list is very minimal. Would recommend this to anyon

Comments about Optimum Nutrition 100% Natural Oats and Whey - 3 Pound Powder:

I love this protein. I love that it's a more natural source, that there are no artifical sugars and no artifical colors and dyes. I use this after every workout, and during the day if I feel I haven't eaten enough. Not a strong chocolate taste, but good.

Mixes well with water or milk. Oatmeal silt accumulates at the bottom of the shake, but still tastes great, and I like the texture. Decent chocolate taste, not fantastic, but good. Glad ON provides something more natural. No artificial colors or sugars.

Comments about Optimum Nutrition 100% Natural Oats and Whey - 3 Pound Powder:

Literally the only protein powder I can take without stomach distress or constipation and it tastes better than any protein powder I have ever used but more than that it has no artificial sweetners but has real evaporated cane sugar and not stevia which leaves a bad after taste and it mixes easily with 8 oz cold water and a shaker cup, I highly recommend this product.

This is a great morning/breakfast shake. The ingredients are top notch. My only complaint is that it isn't regularly stocked at most of the VS's.

I love the way this tastes and really like the protein and fiber combo! I mix it with milk (I am working on other "recipes" as well) and drink it after a morning workout. It helps hold me until lunch and gives me better recovery. I really like that it does not have artificial sweetner, but still keeps the carb calories down. I will buy it again and again!

Hi, im 14 and was wondering if im too young to consume protein nutrients like this one, and if i do would it damage my health in any way?. Thanks
                    Ricky B on Dec 29, 2012
Best Answer: It will most definitely NOT damage your health. But for whatever reason you're using it, just make sure you understand this is NOT a meal replacement. This is simply a "supplement". Use in conjunction with your daily protein intake as well as other whole foods. Hope this helps.
