This very finely ground moringa leaf powder goes well in shakes/smoothies, or mix into a milk or non-dairy milk replacement, for boosting good protein.
This helps with managing a Ketogenic diet.
Can easily be mixed in with other soft foods to increase protein.
Must be briskly shaken in shaker bottle, or use a blender, to get it to mix well--otherwise it floats; spoon-stirring is too much work.
Taste is fairly bland [OK, it does taste a bit green…]; easily camouflaged using fruit or other flavors.
Feasibly, if blenderized very well with suitable fluid [then allow to settle the air bubbles out of it], it could be used via a feeding tube, or as part of a baby formula mixture.
I got the Organic India brand: one of the cans inner aluminum seals' edges had cracked open very slightly in transportation, so a bit of the powder had escaped. This didn't seem a problem for me, but for some, it might be.
PROBLEM: the label lacks ingredients profile parts like: calories, carb/fat/protein grams or miligrams content; nor magnesium and potassium content.
It does, however, list the proteins that are in it, and some other nutrients.
It also lacks a realistic serving measurement:
one serving is listed as 1/2 tsp. = 1 g.
It does not relate that size serving to the size of person.
With some investigation online, you may learn it might require several Tablespoons per day to get adequate protein intake, if this is all an average to large adult uses for protein in a given day.
This can be a bit laxative, IF your digestion is not working properly-
-most folks have deficient amounts of digestive enzymes---your poo may look a bit green too...I solved this by:
1. getting used to it by starting with about 1 heaping tsp. daily in smoothie;
2. adding fiber and a broad-spectrum probiotics
3. taking 1 Tblsp of Real apple cider vinegar in water before consuming this.
This is a good product.
Cans are small, so take up little space in the cupboard.
Yes, there ARE growers in the USA, but their products are not listed in Vitamin Shoppe as far as I could see.

A friend introduced me to moringa when I complained how crummy I was feeling. She insisted it was a miracle plant that would heal my problems from the inside out. I've since tried several brands from capsules to powder.
My preference is Organic India's powder over any brand. It seems fresher and dissolves in liquid easier. Upon waking in the morning, I drink a glass of green's with a teaspoon of moringa that helps to mask the unpleasant taste of the powder. It took me two months of ingesting Organic India moringa before noticing the positive effects so to those who may expect immediate results and are disappointed, please consider continuing to use the product. Your body may need time to heal before feeling the energy, losing weight, lowering blood pressure, cleaning the liver, or whatever your issues.
My #1 reason for using moringa is the mental focus. As a calligrapher who transcribes long texts, I cannot afford to lose focus resulting in making spelling mistakes and the need to start over. Prior to using moringa, I would average 20 mins of lettering before needing a break. I have been gradually increasing focus time and now can letter 50 min without a break.
Add that my skin has noticeably improved, increased endurance (such as walking two miles a day, up from going around the block), increased energy, lowered blood pressure, and most of all, reducing RXs from 16 to 4 with every hope of getting off of those before the end of the year.
I do believe moringa is a powerful product and thank my friend for introducing me to it.

A buddy of mine got me to try this and after some research and documentary watching etc, i got to say that this stuff is packed with so much essential things that your body needs that you cant pass up on this esp when its all natural as well. I am always on the search and open to trying new things esp when they are natural so this was definitely right up there. Check on some of its benefits here for some addl reading if youre still in doubt:
