I am a bit concerned over the Yellow Dock and Red Clover used in this vitamin. First of all, after some research, I found that Yellow dock can be attributed to kidney issues, not limited to, but including kidney stones. In addition, that it should be boiled in several changes of water to reduce the amount of oxalic acid. Is this done prior to being added to this vitamin, to reduce the oxalic acid that the kids are ingesting? Are the amounts added in this vitamin, researched and proven not to be associated with kidney stones, and other irritation of the kidneys? Also, the Red Clover, from my research, has significant warnings, including the reduction of blood clotting, rashes, increase in vaginal bleeding, headaches, nausea, and muscle aches. I am concerned and want to know, if Rainbow Light makes a teen vitamin that do not include these 2 ingredients? Further, are these ingredients in very small doses, so not to cause the serious side effects that are possible, especially with kidney stones, blood clotting to be reduced, which is extremely dangerous should you get a severe injury, and your blood doesn't clot, as you could bleed to death. Why, knowing these things would these ingredients even be in any vitamin? It doesn't appear to me that the health benefits of these two ingredients outweigh the dangerous, and potential side effects that some could experience. If my research has given me incorrect concerns on purchasing this teen vitamin, please send me information that has proven these two ingredients safe and effective without the side effects I've found associated with them so that I can make my purchase decision. If however, you cannot provide them, if you could recommend as good another similar, well balanced vitamin for teens, without the Yellow Dock and Red Clover, I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you.
