    Poor Quality and Potency

    By Tim F

    from Undisclosed

Comments about Solaray Lemon Balm (395 MG) - 100 Capsules:

This brand of Lemon Balm is of very poor quality. I have tried other herbs from Solaray and they have all failed me at any sound quality or potency. Make sure you always read the "other ingredients" on all of the herbs you plan to purchase because most of this stuff is just fillers with only a minute amount of actual herbal product. I have had better results with Natures Way Melissa (lemon Balm) than any other so far. I suggest doing your own research on these products before you buy any of them.

Comments about Solaray Lemon Balm (395 MG) - 100 Capsules:

every now and then i go through weeks where i cannot sleep at all, so i did some research and read somewhere that lemon balm would help me fall asleep and stay asleep. i dont think anything has been more wrong. this product did not help me sleep at all. i took it for 2 months and it did not help one bit. i would suggest beating yourself unconcious over this product for sleep aid, other than that i dont know what it is good for. dont buy.

        Leona S: Hi Sally,

I would ask your doctor for advice on any contra-indications with taking herbs along with your specific medications.

I am a retired herbalist, and know that while people can think herbs are "harmless", they can and do effect system changes. In my belief, for the better. However, while in business, I always was cautious with clients on pharmaceutical medications, pregnant and nursing mothers, and children under the age of 18.

It is best to consult with your heath care provider of your choice.
