A Vitamin Shoppe customer asked: Which is better vitamin c powder or vitamin c crystals? Aug 28, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Lauren J: I am not sure what you mean by better, but I purchased the crystals because I have great difficulty swallowing vitamin C in pill form, so for my purpose its great. In the past I have tried powdered vitamin c and found it to be on the tart side other than that I can't say that I've noticed much of a difference between the two. Aug 29, 2013

Robert T: I use the Solgar vitamin C crystals brand because it is pure L-ascorbic acid that dissolves easily and contains no additives like magnesium stearate that are often found in other brands. If a product is pure vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid) then it is in crystalline form as far as I can tell. Sep 1, 2013
