TwinLab Omega-3 Cardio Krill Oil 60 Softgels

Product Label

Superba Pure Krill Oil + Heart Healthy B-Vitamins. Sustainable eco-harvesting methods used. No "repeats" (burps).

Each softgel of Twinlab's Omega-3 Cardio Krill Oil contains 625mg of highly beneficial, 100% pure Superba Krill Oil with a unique phospholipid not available in fish oils. Unlike other sources of Omega-3s, this phospholipid form of fatty acids aids recognition by the body based on its resemblance to the human brain's own phospholipids and is easily incorporated and utilized by the body.

In addition to this cutting edge Omega-3 ingredient, Twinllab's Omega-3 Cardio Krill Oil is unique because it contains Vitamins B6, B12 and folic acid to further help support a healthy heart. Studies have shown that B-Vitamins can help maintain healthy homocysteine levels.

Supportive, but not conclusive research shows that consumption of EPA and DHA omega-3 fatty acids may reduce the risk of coronary heart disease.

Efficacy: Contains a unique and substantial offering of EPA and DHA, the two most commonly deficient polyunsaturated fatty acids in the typical diet, in phospholipid form, thus being more efficacious and of higher value. The Omega-3 Krill Oil in Twinlab's Omega-3 Cardio Krill Oil is naturally resistant to odixation which can lower the quality of Omega-3 fatty acids from fish.

Superiority: Possesses superior naturally occurring antioxidants such as vitamin A, vitamin E, and esterified astaxanthin plus healthy B-vitamins not found in typical krill formulas.

Eco-Harvesting: The Krill Oil in Twinlab's Omega-3 Cardio Krill Oil is sustainable harvested from deep, pristine Antarctic waters using proprietary eco-harvesting techniques and standards that maximize freshness, minimize impact to the surrounding ecosystem and successfully manage healthy krill populations.

Ultra Fresh Krill Oil: The processing of 100% pure Superba Krill Oil begins at sea just moments after harvesting, not weeks later, resulting in a fresher product with no additives or added preservatives.

Take 1 softgel daily with a meal or snack.

Comments about TwinLab Omega-3 Cardio Krill Oil - 60 Softgels:

I don't like taking a lot of pills and noticed that Twinlab's Krill has 625mg in just one softgel. And Superba krill is much more earth-friendly than others out there. Great value, excellent product. I'd buy it again.

Vitamin Shoppe Store asked: Why did you choose this?
Cynthia R: This uses Superba krill oil which is supposed to be a better source of krill. It does seem to work better than the brands I've tried using NKO (Neptune krill oil). Jun 5, 2014
        Julie S: It's good for you May 16, 2014
Bryan G: I initially started using the Twinlab brand of krill oil upon the suggestion of a Vitamin Shoppe associate when Twinlab first started offering this product, because they said it didn't have the fishy smell of other krill oils. I've been taking it for over a year, but recently decided to switch to Source Natural krill oil after noticing that the Twinlab krill oil contains transfat. Mar 19, 2014
Neisha C: This has a stronger milligram per capsule than the megared and it's just as effective at a much better price. Mar 13, 2014
Mark G: I've been a Twinlab customer for more than ten years. The product is always produced and packaged in the form I expect. They have a broad range of products in either a capsule or soft gel for almost immediate absorption. This is one of nine supplements I take daily. VitaminShoppe provides a reliable supply at reasonable prices. Feb 18, 2014
Becky L: Trying it first time, but compared to more expensive, it's a much better value! Feb 7, 2014
George S: Been using this product for 2 years now. Has helped, with a better diet, bring down and stabilize my triglycerides from well over 100 to consistently being in the low 90s. Also highest amount of Krill oil at 625mg I've found out there. Nov 24, 2013
Thomas U: Krill oil smells different from fish oil. It is more pungent. I haven't noticed any breath smell. I use it for joint relief and it does a good job for me. Oct 27, 2013
Barbara B: Excellent product; good value for the money. Sep 1, 2013
Karen E: high quality, more mg per pill Aug 13, 2013

Mary M: Like this product, small pills, no fishy taste. Jan 8, 2013
A Vitamin Shoppe customer asked: I (Tim's wife) have used a combination of omega-3 fish oil (primarily salmon) and triple omega (fish, flax, borage)for several years. It brought my cholesterol from being so far out of whack they couldn't calculate a risk factor (while using one of the infamous statins) to nearly normal ranges (not using statins). Then I acquired an intestinal parasite on a ferry trip across the Baltic (use bottled water to brush your teeth onboard ship!!). It has taken 2 years to totally kill the giardia (we hope) but it's left me with a kind of IBS and I wound up having my gallbladder removed due to stones a year into the parasite and no oils. Now my oil combo kicks off a bout of pyroclastic diarrhea about 3 or 4 days into my old regimen and I have to discontinue the oils. Has anyone had problems with diarrhea or loose stools with the krill? Especially anyone with IBS or Crohn's? Might I have better luck with the krill? Is it likely to work as well without the side effects? I worry about my cholesterol, but nightime 'diapers' are really getting tiresome (I'm only 60 and a long way from dementia and incontinence I hope!), and they really mess with a marriage! HELP!!!!!
