Both my chiropractor and my neurologist suggested I take 3,000 mg of omega-3 fish oil daily to help control my inflammatory disease. I chose Carlson because they have such a great reputation. At first the fish oil gave me heartburn, and I had to work up to 3,000 mg over a period of two weeks. I actually prefer the Super to the Elite formula, which has 250mg more per capsule. After using the Super for three months now, I have to say that my body has less pain when I take only one capsule daily as opposed to three capsules daily. A major study on fish oil was released this week, which says that taking mega doses of this stuff can actually weaken your arteries, so I'm reducing my daily intake to one 1,000 mg capsule per day. Overall, though, I really like this product. No fishy taste and I do think it cuts down on inflammation when taken at the lower dose.

This is a great fish oil w/absolutely no fishy aftertaste. I have taken several brands of fish oil, some I just tolerated the fishy indigestion, another I tolerated the high price. I read some promising reviews about Carlson fish oil, tried it, and am totally pleased w/the product AND the reasonable price.

I take Carlson Super Omega-3 daily.I have been using this product for over five years. I recommend this product because it is much better than the other fish oils. It does not leave a bad taste or after taste in your mouth like most of the other fish oil softgels.

I have taken several fish oils over the years and I feel safest with the Carlson products. My dogs get one of these everyday along with Jarrow Curcumin-95.

I used to take these all the time, since Dr. Mercola used to recommend them, and fish oil does help with a number of issues, but I kept wondering why my neck was always swollen. I knew that soy caused my neck to get swollen - and finally discovered after calling Carlson's that there is soy in these!!! They should put it on the label! And soy is in some of Carlson's other products, including their Solar D!!! PUT IT ON THE LABEL!!!

I have been taking Carlson fish oil for several years. Great product and as for fish burps, you have to take them with breakfast and be a little patient. They will go away after a week or two, if you take them everyday.

I keep mine in the freezer to minimize fish burps...I am almost paranoid to take them because I did have fish burps once (like an idiot I ate breakfast, took them, then had coffee! duh of course the coffee would melt the capsule quickly creating fish burps) I have only been taking them at night because of my fear of getting them again..it was sooooo gross to burp up fish oil! Also pretty easy to swallow considering they are really big for my taste.

This is my third order, the price is good and the quality of these is great. They are easy to swallow and I dont detect a fishy after taste. These are from fish in unpolluted waters. I would keep repurchasing.

I have tried fish oils over the years to reduce cholesterol. Carlson is the best quality for the money, with cold-water fish considered 100% Norwegian quality oil. This is the first product I ever had without any fishy burps! Each soft gel has EPA, DHA plus other Omega-3's in addition to the fish concentrate. With this order, you get the big 100 gel bottle plus the mini-30 gel bottle. The smaller version is great for traveling and a "reminder" to reorder. This is an unbelievable deal. So many brands out there advertise the same benefits with 3 times the price with less purity and potency. I buy Carlson's other vitamins and it is the "cadillac" of the brands out there. By the way, my cholesterol dropped 50 points in 6 months on this fish oil!

As usual, VitaminShoppe.com offers great pricing! Always receive products quick! I'm fussy about the after-taste that fish oil can have. I always take my vitamins with food and haven't had any issue with this product. My husband takes this product on an empty stomach and doesn't have any complaints. Good product!

I haven't taken a Super Omega-3 fish oil pill before so I wasn't sure what to expect. I do notice my skin, hair, and nails have improved. I only take one per day, but might bump it up to two.

This is the first fish oil capsule I've ever tried - after reading about the great benefits of fish oil I went in search of a quality, yet affordable, product. I read many reviews of different brands of fish oil, and found Carlson was highly recommended. I decided to purchase some and I have not been disappointed (and Vitamin Shoppe offers such an affordable price!). Within one week I noticed a HUGE improvement in my complexion - I had a glow and my mild acne started to clear up (even scarring started to disappear)! I also noticed an increased improvement in my mood, focus, and mental clarity. I suffer from severe PMS symptoms, and as soon as I started taking them my PMS symptoms seemed to disappear. It's amazing to me. Even birth control pills couldn't control my complexion and PMS symptoms the same as this product does. I was concerned about the so-called "fish burps" but have only found that to be an issue if I take them without food. And even at that, they are nothing intolerable. Many times I forget to take them with my meal and, with exception of the very first dose I ever took, I never have the fish burps. The pills are about the size of most adult vitamins.

There is no fishy taste or aftertaste, and the quality of the product is very high. This is the product I recommend to anyone wanting to start taking fish oil.

I love this fish oil which doesn't taste fishy and gets me to over 1000mg of omega 3 (DHA and EPA combined) with just 2 pills, compared to many others which need 3 or 4 pills. It's high quality, mercury free too.
