Mixes easily and instantly! Most other protein shakes clump up but not this product! Taste is like drinking a chocolate milk. I mix with half skim milk and half water with ice cubes.

I do not trust artificial sweeteners, and am very glad Muscle Milk comes with natural sweeteners, if you buy Muscle Milk Naturals. When I was in the military, fighter pilots would black out while pulling negative g's. It was such a problem that the military did studies. Here is what they found. The men blacking out were drinking diet sodas. Once this was known, they forbade their pilots from drinking diet sodas, and the problem disappeared altogether. In this case it was Aspartame. There are a number of artificial sweeteners on the market, and all untested. Now this artificial sweetener that sounds like sucrose -- and that is the only similarity -- is put in protein powders. It is funny in an ironic way, but in California they pounce on people eating healthily and leave these artificial sweeteners untested because no one drops dead instantly. I don't trust these artificial sweeteners. Muscle milk chocolate natural with a banana and other fruits is pretty tasty. The problem is that I have a son that goes through this stuff rapidly. A regular teen vacuum cleaner at the refrigerator. So with both of us using it, it goes pretty fast. Good stuff.

I've tried several protein powders over the years and now recently have been getting into the all natural powders. I've tried three, and this one tastes the best. I tried an extremely expensive one by a famous NFL tight end, but it did not taste as good, and gave me bad gas pains. That was the first issue I've had with gas from any protein powder. Muscle Milk Natural is priced fairly, and meets expectations.
