Mixes well in either a shaker cup or in a blender. I've mixed it with almond mix, water, 2% and whole milk and it tastes good in any of them. The chocolate combines well with fruit but if you plan to blend up some vegetables (I use a lot of spinach) then stick to the vanilla. I've experienced some visceral fat retention with the other brands because of their use of corn syrup solids to give their protein a good flavor. This has no corn syrup, 1 gm sugar and 3 carbs per serving making it the lowest insulin response inducing protein I've used to date (and the flavor is still very nice).

Since the flavor is "Double Rich Chocolate" I was expecting more of a chocolate taste. It was more chalky for me.
I blend in a ninja with water, once in a while coconut almond breeze but either way I didn't like the flavor, which is too bad. I did end up just using it up and adding to protein pancakes to finish it off rather than drink it. I didn't know about VS policy that I could return after I opened it. Now I know.

I've been using this for about 4 months now and have zero complaints. It tastes pretty good for a protein powder and seems to be working pretty well. I workout 5-6 days a week and run 3 days a week. I make a shake within 30 minutes of every workout and after any strenuous or long runs. It's hard to say for sure how well it's working because I started using it so close to the time I started exercising again. But I believe it has helped me stay injury free from my running and workouts, and reduced my recovery times between workouts.
I mix one scoop with one cup almond milk, one teaspoon chia seeds, a couple of tablespoons peanut butter, a small amount of frozen 70% cacao dark chocolate, and enough ice to make a shake. I won't say it tastes just like a peanut butter cup, but it's close. I really like it and it's sometimes tempting to drink one even if I haven't been to the gym that day. And you can't beat the price.

This is THE best powder you can buy. It's full of BCAAs which is essential in my opinion. I'm an aspiring bodybuilder who has been in the game for around 7 years and have tried several powders over my career and ON surpasses them all in terms of taste and overall quality. I look forward to each shake I have as a TREAT which is very rewarding. I also mix it with steel oats or buckwheat pancakes for an extra chocolate treat. Strongly recommended. Also it blends very very well (using cold water) with a "blender bottle". It's great when you pay a large sum of money for a product and have nothing negative to say about it. I'm on my 3rd 5lber and havn't looked back.

Just started using this ON protien, the taste is awful, 1st time I used 1 scoop with a cup of milk, and it tasted bad, not chocoalty enough. 2nd time I used 2 scoops- still bad. I am used to GNC AMP chocoalate, which tasted great!
The one good thing is about this is that it mixes great! Will not buy again!

Spend some dollars more and get this whey protein instead of any other cheaper ones, you won't regret. I have been working out for a year now and have tried many products but this one is by far the best one, it contains BCAAs, the whey is hydro-whatever, I mean, it's the most effective one, go for it.

Don't trust many brands, especially not store brands, im sorry. For the price OP Whey gives you more protein, less carbs and sugars per scoop then many others.
As far as taste
-Add whey protein, scoops vary depending on how much calories from protein you are trying to bring back into your system
-1 part almond milk, i usually use unsweet original
-2 parts water
-1/2-1 banana, depending on protein consumption
