I am usually skeptical to write reviews, but I promise you this is worth your while. I have used this product for the past 6 years. I am a disciplined body builder and lift weights nearly every day as well as run 3 miles every evening. I use this product as a post workout supplement, a snack to suppress my hunger between meals and have recommended it multiple times to friends and clients. I stand proudly by this item and will continue using it. Optimum Nutrition produces products that I can trust and love. No complaints about gas, diarrhea, or stomach upset. It tastes great, mixes well, and lasts me quite a while. Not to mention the price from VitaminShoppe is superb. I definitely will continue recommending this product to everyone who is serious about their diet and health.

Here is what you get Per Serving: 120 Calories, 24g of protein, 1g of fat, 30mg cholesterol, 130mg sodium, 3g carbs. 10lbs is 149 servings and for $98 bucks its ~.66 cents a serving. The taste of the Double Rich Chocolate has improved over the years as with any Whey Protein it has "that" taste. I use this as both a Meal replacement ( 2 scoops of Powder, 2 Tablespoons of Natural Peanut butter, 1 Banana, 1 cup of skim milk) = 640 calories ~ 65g protein And also for my post workout I will usually just do (2 scoops of powder, 1 cup of skim milk) = 350 calories and 56g protein. I have tried using water when I want to keep calories lower, I prefer Skim Milk. I have friends that prefer water. It is personal preference. I use a Magic Bullet Blender, and premix my shakes in the morning. In a shaker bottle I would always get clumping so i just blend everything. In my opinion this for the money is the best protein in its category with a pretty decent taste and not filled with fillers or other BS.

I have been using this product from Optimum Nutrition for years now and I am very satisfied overall. It tastes good with both milk and water and the taste is not affected if I mix it in the morning and don't drink it until later in the afternoon. Protein is expensive and you need to make sure you're getting value for your hard earned money. Buying 10 lbs of a quality protein like this one is one way to do just that.

Quality protein for a great price. If you drink protein shakes regularly, 10lbs bulk is the only way to go. ON makes a great product, i have been using their whey and casein for years with no complaints...

Mixes well in a blender, especially when you throw a banana in there with it. Can't beat the per serving cost for such a high amount of protein and BCAAs. Tastes great with milk, haven't tried it with water; I use milk for the extra protein and sugars. Definitely ordering this again!

I like the 10lb bag. good quality protein that mixes easily, taste is somewhat bland but it doesnt taste bad, i think it almost taste better w/ water than milk

Gold Standard 100% Whey Protein by Optimum Nutrition has to be the best one I have tried. At first I was skeptical about this until my friend recommended it to me. I always thought to myself "The label on this thing looks too simple, it's probably not good.". Boy, was I wrong. I bought myself a 2lb container which lasted me about a week, I drank it 3 times a day (2 scoops at a time). After that week, I noticed a big difference in my size, recovery and energy. I really don't know how to explain it, this stuff is just plain fantastic and the chocolate flavor is great! I would recommend this protein to anyone, either it be a beginner or an advanced athlete.

This is my favorite flavor, but ive never tried the cookie's n cream and have heard that that is a good flavor too. This protein does what its supposed to and taste great too.
