I bought a bottle, tastes fine. But I can't find where there's any vitamins A & D that are always associated with ALL FISH OILS. Are they taken out? I'm sure if there were any, they would be listed and they aren't. Vitamin D is very, very important and I want it in my oils as well as A in a 1 to 5 ratio. Sorry, I can't buy any more.

I suffer from chronic pain and I use fish oil to reduce systemic inflammation and thereby control my pain. I had only used fish oil tablets in the past and I was looking for a better value than tablets could offer. I was at Vitamin Shoppe to check out Carlson Laboratories' "The Very Finest Fish Oil Lemon Flavor" when I noticed Vitamin Shoppes' version with an identical amount of EPA and DHA. I was hesitant to try it as I have never tried fish oil straight up and I had heard that Carlson's didn't have a fishy taste but Vitamin Shoppe won me over with the better price. I'm glad I went with this stuff. It is all-but-flavorless with just a hint of lemon; no fishy taste whatsoever. I use two tablespoons in the morning and one at bedtime for a total of just under 4000 mg per day and it controls my pain the same as 4000 mg of fish oil tablets did but at a much better price.

I decided to give this fish oil a try -- I had been taking Carlson's for many years prior. This fish oil appears to be just as good as Carlson's -- no "fishy" burps, doesn't smell rancid, and goes down well. I take a spoonful in the morning, and one at night. It's worked out great for me!

I take 2 T. a day and have used it for 2 years...My triglicerides have have gone down 50 points... Tastes great....NOthing bad to say about it...

This is a great deal. I take a capful after dinner everynight. Keep bottle in refrigerator
for easy access. No bad after taste, Flavored with lemon so all you taste is lemon. Started taking to reduce tryglycerides product has worked

I actually had to return this fish oil, it tasted so awful. I am used to other brands of lemon-flavored fish oil which are great, light and lemony with no fishy taste. I thought the Vitamin Shoppe version would be similar but it is extremely fishy and thick like motor oil. It's also more expensive than the other brands.

Great product but why do all of these fish oil products include added Soy? Most new evidence shows Soy to be a "gender bender" and unhealthy. Soy was initially an industrial crop but is now added to everything as a cheap filler and oil. Wish they would drop it as an ingredient.

I have been using fish oil a few years now and this is the first time I have tried the liquid fish oil. For the potency of the EPA and DHA I don't think you can get a better deal. If you tried to get that in a gel cap you would have to pay quite a bit. Since this is the first time I have tried the liquid version I figured I would give it the (in my opinion) the ultimate test drive. On a near empty stomach I took a serving after work and went for a 4 mile run with my dog. I figured if anything would cause me to burp up a nasty fish flavor that would be it. Long story short it didn't taste bad at all when I took it and the few burps I had while I ran where nothing out of the norm (no bad taste or smell....AT ALL!). So for me personally, they have a life long customer for this product. If I could give it ten stars I would.

I wanted to let everyone know that this is a great product, and I think it does taste like lemon, with no aftertaste. Its not even real oily like you might think. but the real reason I take it is because I have servere dry eyes, and I was using eyedrops every 1/2 hour, and one day I read an article that a woman had the same problem and she started taking omega-3 pills. so, I started doing this and it really helps my eyes. I have absolutely no tears in my eyes, and so this really helps. I only have to use eyedrops 3 times a day, so if anyone is on the fence and has servere dry eyes or any dry eye problems, try taking this every day. it will really help. I'm sure its helping in other ways too, but this is the main reason I take it.

Frankly, I am surprised at all the reviews here saying how good this product tastes. I had previously used Carlson fish oil but can no longer afford it due to the price hike, so I am forced to buy this if I want liquid fish oil. It does not taste lemony; to me it tastes like I imagine motor oil would taste. It's not fishy and there is no aftertaste or burps, so I guess it's tolerable, but I sure miss the Carlson fish oil.

I was watching the Dr. Oz show when they were talking about the importance of Omega 3 fish oil especially the amounts of EPA and DHA contained in them. I formerly took the fish oil in gel capsules but and they upset my stomach and left me with a bad after taste. Since watching the show, I tried this liquid product and am sold on it. It doesn't upset my stomach and has a very pleasant mildly citrus taste. I have noticed a marked improvement in my finger nails since the use of this product. They were getting really nasty looking and my thumb nails were actually developing ridges and a hole in the center of the nail. I assumed it was because of advancing age and my hands are constantly exposed to soap, water and sanitizer. The improvement was remarkable. My nails have smoothed out significantly and even have a healthy sheen to them. This is the benefit that I can actually visualize. I'm sure I am reaping other health benefits internally that I am not even aware of.

Before buying this, I have been taking Barleans Fish Oil, mainly because it is one of the more milder tasting fish oils on the market. I decided it was time to try something different. When I saw VS Fish Oil on sale at the store it seemed like a great value for the price. When I tried it I was pleasantly suprised at how mild tasting it was - and you're still getting a fairly large dose of EPA/DHA in one teaspoon serving. I have been taking it for a couple of weeks now and I haven't had problems with indigestion, burping or it leaving a bad aftertaste like some fish oils I have tried in the past. It's also nice that I can get basically 3 months worth and not have to worry about it spoiling. The top on this makes it very easy to pour and control the amount you want. One of my minor complaints with Barleans was the squeeze top design, which sometimes makes it really difficult to get the oil to come out. No such problem with this. I'm really satisfied with this fish oil. I just hope the price stays the same.

I can only echo the other four reviews I have read. I was offered a sample at the Vitamin Shoppe and was greatly surprised at the lemon taste. Although it is oil, it is not a heavy oil and it's very easy to swallow. This liquid had a much higher EPA/DHA than the softgels and much easier to swallow. Keep it cold in the fridge, take one teaspoon a day with a meal - I take mine at night just in case I get the burps....but no burps and no problems. I'm on the web site today to buy a bigger bottle! Thank you Vitamin Shoppe! Try it, you won't be disappointed!

I've been looking for a way to get at least 3 grams of Omega-3 fats from fish oil daily, without taking 6 pills and spending a ton of money. I walked into the store near my house, and the manager Hans quickly pointed this one out after I had asked about a few others. Despite my fear of what liquid fish oil would taste like, this doesn't taste like fish at all, and has a GREAT lemon flavor! At 2 servings a day I'm right on par for my 3 grams a day, and it will be a 50 day supply! To make matters even better I picked it up for $18.99!
