He has over 25 years of experience in the field of nutrition, most of which has been in the dietary supplement industry. Brian has a Master\u2019s degree in nutrition and is a former instructor in the Department of Health and Nutrition Sciences at the City University of New York’s Brooklyn College. His areas of expertise include product research and formulation, claims substantiation, and regulatory affairs. Brian currently serves on the Editorial Advisory Board for <em>Nutritional Outlook<\/em> magazine as well as the membership and sports nutrition committees for the Natural Products Association.<\/p>\n<p>As a member of The Vitamin Shoppe Wellness Council, Tanzer is a source of expansive knowledge on all things dietary supplements.
