Its medium-chain triglycerides (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.vitaminshoppe.com\/blog\/2017\/06\/16\/why-is-everyone-talking-about-mcts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MCTs<\/a>) are metabolized differently and used more rapidly for energy than the long-chain fatty acids found in red meat.
