Comments about Desert Essence Tea Tree Oil Skin Ointment - 1 Fluid Ounces Cream:

This ointment is phenominal for dry skin. I rub it all over my face before I go to bed and when I wake up in the morning my face looks like it's glowing. I use it on my hand also but only if I sit and do nothing for a least 1/2 hour b/c it is greasy but it absorbs quickly with no greasy residue! It's great on lips too but Dessert Essence has a lip balm. Also great on feet. There are no "aren't so great" things I know of.

Comments about Desert Essence Tea Tree Oil Skin Ointment - 1 Fluid Ounces Cream:

i have suffered with what i know is perleche since i was 10 yo. for 18 years my idiot doctors gave me hydrocortisone. this was the worst thing they could have done. giving me a steroid cream to mask my ailment. after years of using hydrocortisone, i began to break out in what looked like acne (however it was not) all around my chin (corners of mouth). i FINALLY took matters into my own hands and discovered the steroid cream was the cause of this "acne" and FINALLY figured out what the heck i really had...PERLECHE. it is more common than you think. it also sux! this is the only product i have found that works. i had to switch my toothpaste to a flouride free, but i cannot tell you how happy this made me. i actually cried. years of suffering from something none of my idiot doctors could tell me what it was for nothing. i try to avoid doctors as much as possible, but this was something i couldn't figure out until i finally was old enough to take matters into my own hands. PLEASE DO NOT EVER STOP MAKING THIS PRODUCT, I WILL LITERALLY CRY! THANK YOU DESERT ESSENCE! XOXO

Comments about Desert Essence Tea Tree Oil Skin Ointment - 1 Fluid Ounces Cream:

Was looking for a great natural skin moisturizer, for my hands. I had read other reviews about this and decided to try it. I figured what could it hurt ? I am so glad that I did try it ! It's been a few months and now I'm on my second or third jar. I used it to moisturize my hands, arms, legs, feet, and lips. Yes, you can use it as a chapstick ! I have not tried it on my face because I think it may be to oily for my face. It soaks in very quickly, and I feel that it does a good job of keeping my skin soft, and my lips soft and protected. Skin irritations go away pretty much instantly. Small cuts, and bruises go away within two or three days. It takes the sting out of insect bites. Pimples, it does not cure quickly for me. I wish it did, however, it does work well on making pimples go away faster and so that they are not so inflammed and red. I got bit by a tick (first time ever) and rubbed some of this ointment on it immediately. It did not itch as long as I put this cream on and I've been told that tick bites itch like crazy, and the actual tick bite/bump went away in about 2 days. I used it on my dog between her toes to relieve a skin irritation, and I think she really liked it. The redness went away in ONE day. I thought this was amazing because my dog has skin issues. Also, she did not like the tase or smell so she did not lick it off. I actually like the smell, lavender is an ingredient. It is not strong at all. Now I feel like this is a must have in my house !!

Comments about Desert Essence Tea Tree Oil Skin Ointment - 1 Fluid Ounces Cream:

For years, I struggled with two underarm issues - I would become immune to deodorants after two weeks (THAT got expensive!) and the skin there was always irritated (I think it was due to some "permanent" laser-like hair removal, sarcastic remarks saved for another review!). Well, I started using the Thai Mineral Rock Deodorant and that fixed the "deodorant dilemma", but I still had pain from irritation. I started using this creme after my showers and within a few days, it cleared up completely! That was probably a year ago and now, I use it every time I shower and other than needing a wax-job every once in a while, my underarms are fresh and pretty (as much as possible, anyway!) I also use it on my face when I think I might get a pimple or have gotten a pimple (ick!), and on my beau's face and neck to help keep blemishes away. And, I use it on cuts, abrasions, and other random 'injuries'. Great to keep feet soft and fresh, too! I've read that people use it on their animals, as well! Highly recommended! I keep two jars in my house at all times!
