Best Answer:  All Vitamin Shoppe brand supplements are tested based on strict specifications for identity, purity, strength, and composition. There would be no way to test this individually, as results will vary based on a variety of factors. We suggest taking this product on an empty stomach. The goal is to get the probiotics through your stomach acid as fast as possible. To do this, it's recommended to take probiotics ideally on an empty stomach (i.e., 2–3 hours after your last meal and 30 minutes before the next meal), so the probiotics bacteria can move through the stomach as fast as possible.
