Comments about Derma E Anti Wrinkle Vitamin A Glycolic Cleanser - 6 Fluid Ounces Liquid:

I'm using this product b/c it does the job, but the smell, which I know is so subjective, does not agree with me at all. Also, it took forever to get the pump working, but it does now.

Vitamin A is very important for aging skin & Glycolic Acid removes dead skin cells from top layer of my skin giving it a more youthful appearance.

Will this help with my oily acne prone skin?
        Andy L on Jun 6, 2013
Best Answer: Helps my acne and doesn't dry out skin like the cleansers that contain peroxide or salicylic acid. I still use other toners (not Derma E) that contain the salicylic acid/glycolic acid, and I still use the Vitamin A gel to moisturize (which I found in the Vitamin Shoppe store, but can't seem to find here online). I think it help a lot without drying out skin. And contrary to the review on here, I think the smell is pleasant. Now the taste that remains on my lips is terrible, but it goes away quickly!

Does this cleanser foam up or is it just creamy... I prefer a cleanser that foams on the skin while cleansing? ...thanks
        Carol S on Nov 8, 2012
Best Answer: The cleanser does foam up a little only. My face feels clean as if it did a good job cleaning but think the glycolic ingredient is too strong for me. It makes my face burn slightly. Will use it occasionally only for exfoliation and will stick to my Kinerase daily facial cleanser. A shame cause still searching for a natural cleanser.
