      Best protein shake I've tasted, even when using straight water. What I usually do is mix 3/4 water with 1/4 skim milk. Makes it a little creamier. I use it three times a day; once for breakfast, the second for after my workout, and the third right before bed. I love it. And it does work. Helped me lose 18 pounds of fat in one month, but kept my muscle growing. I highly recommend it.

      This one tastes great, but will make you fat. If you read the ingredients, there is a lot of not so good for you stuff in there. A lot of fat and carbs that you don't want unless you're trying to gain weight. As a weight gain product, yes, I think it would be good. But overall I don't think I would recommend this one strictly as a protein powder for building muscle.

      I use this as a meal replacement and as recovery shake. The taste is pretty good though I like the other flavors a lot better. I've moved on from muscle milk due to the higher carb content. But this is a good protein for the money.

          I will say the taste isn't bad, but when you look and realize how many carbs and sugars are in Muscle Milk you realize that it really isnt that great of protein for you. The absorption rate of this is extremely slow so you aren't getting all of the protein that you should. If you are a casual lifter then this is fine, I would recommend a Whey Isolate that will actually absorb most if not all the protein you are drinking

            This stuff tastes way better than the vanilla stuff I got of the same brand. Plus, I just discovered an amazing smoothie that tastes like raspberry chocolate cake!

            I was 60lbs over weight and looking to lose 60 to 65lbs, down 20lbs so far. I mostly use this as a snack. I have tried others but this taste the best. Would of giving it 5 stars if it was 50 to 100 Calories less.

              I've been working out for about 30yrs., Competed on BB, power lifting, BMX racing, Swimming. Protein powders back in the day-early 90s- were god awful tasting and chalking. Now muscle milk is smooth. I had introduced it to quite a few people and they love it.

                      I take this as one scoop in the morning and usually another one later in the evening. I like the blend of proteins it has and even take it after a weight session fairly often, though I usually try to take a 100% whey protein after weights. It mixes pretty well, unlike many other proteins I've tried that aren't pure whey and I think it tastes really good even just mixed with water.

                      My only cons are that it is somewhat higher in calories than I'd prefer (150 per scoop compared to about 120 for whey) and lower in protein per scoop (about 16 grams vs. 22-24 for most wheys). But if you double up on this size you can get about 5 pounds for about $50 which isn't bad and like I said, it tastes good!

                            I have a very fast metabolism so gaining weight basically means that I have to gain it all in muscle. I have seen much progress in using muscle milk and I usually drink this after my workout. Sometimes I even use it as a breakfast substitute.                                                 I learned people believe too much on this product due to Brand name. i have taken this product when i first started lifting, as many do, and thought it was great. But this should might as well be called a fat shake rather than a protein shake. This product is expensive for the amount of servings. And it takes double the servings to get the same protein out of other products. Yes fat and carbs are needed to maximize gains. These are included which make up a lot of the filler for the protein. Although i dont understand what exactly is the filller for the lesser fat Muscle Milk Formula. But why not get it out of regular food? My results have gone up since switching to Whey to get the PROTEIN I need at a lower cost and with more effective ingredients including most of the BCAA's If recieving muscle gains + spending a lot of money then go with the muscle milk. For WHATEVER results you want, if its gain muscle or get lean. Whey i the WHEY ;) to go as it contains tons of less fat, carbs and fillers for a cheaper price.

                                                    AWESOME!!! I have an extremely fast metabolism, so it was hard for me to gain weight. I am 5'8" and before taking this product, I weighed 143 lbs. I took 2 servings each day, and after about a month in the gym i was up to 160 lbs. Rock Solid. I know my routine in the gym played a big part, but without this product I'd still be very thin.

                                                        althought it does have added ingredients/vaitamins this is great for a meal filler.... noticed i said filler NOT replacement. like any other protien shake there are additves/fillers that u pay for mixed in with the protien that u want. agreed it taste great! although not the best protien shake for leaning up. if u want great taste protien with a little added extra to gain those extra pounds/size then this is the whey to go. but if u want something a little less fattening try Dymatize. remember the body is conditioned to LOVE FAT. so in general sense...less fat mean less flavor....

                                                            I love muscle milk because it is very good on price and also has most of the better tasting protein shake flavors on the market. Ive been using muscle milk for about half a year and the result are amazing. I lost the fat I wanted and it packed me up with muscle weight. Highly recommended product. Sometime I mix the chocolate with hot water or milk and it tastes like hot chocolate!

Serving size is 2 scoops (16 servings/container) so I cut it in half and only take it during the night time because of the caseins. Not great for after-workouts (which I normally use optimum whey) but overall good product.

I especially love the chocolate, but also am very impressed with the blueberry creme & vanilla creme. I highly recommend. If you add ice, bananas, & milk it makes it that much more delicious!                                                                             Best Answer: No single product will make you gain weight by itself. If your goal is to put on weight, then Muscle Milk has a higher fat content compared to some other brands, such the Gold Standard chocalate whey powder. If your goal is Not to gain weight, then I suggest the Standard Gold Whey as a protein sup with less fat.
