A Vitamin Shoppe customer asked: Is this product Mercury free? Ultimate Gold Omega 3 Fish Oil 735EPA/165DHA Jul 10, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Priscilla W: I ordered and tried using the product you ask about. I found it to be a large gel cap to swallow and it had a unpleasant fish taste "burp" back that I didn't like. I no longer have the bottle so do not know about the Mercury content or not.
I changed to Vitamin Shoppe product Omega 3 Fish Oil liquid, 800 EPA/500 DHA (1300 mg)VS-2652 and also Carlson's Super Omega 3 Gems Fish Oil Concentrate Soft Gels(500 mg) CL-7142,and alternate with Carlson's 'The Very Finest Fish Oil liquid',1300 mg,(CL-1944 and alternate between the VS fish oil liquid and Carlson's fish oil liquid. In my experience, the fish taste "burp" back comes from the gel caps but not the fish oil liquid. The Carlson's label reads in part: product has been determined to be free of detrimental levels of mercury, etc. Hope this helps your customer. Best regards, P.Wood
