About This Product

Do we need yet another protein powder? Initially, we said no… but that quickly turned into a yes as this project got underway. There are many high-quality protein solutions on the market, and the last thing we'd do is create another me-too whey powder. The AN Performance Hybrid Protein combines the finest sources of whey and just enough milk protein to deliver big on taste and texture while enhancing muscle growth and recovery. Our blend features 50% Whey Protein Isolate for rapid absorption, 25% Whey Protein Concentrate for a balanced release and flavor, and 25% Milk Protein Isolate -- which includes both whey and casein proteins -- for sustained amino acid delivery and exquisite texture. Directions

Mix 1 scoop (30g per scoop) with cold water (8-10 oz. per scoop) and consume before or after athletic activity. Vary amount of liquid to preferred taste. Use only as directed. Scoops are estimate only, weighing scales are recommended.

Classic Clean Vanilla

One of the better ones
I decided to give this one a try due to rave reviews I read elsewhere. I personally think the price point doesn't justify the serving size as it's def one of the pricier ones. At first taste, I thought it tasted like it had cinnamon in it, but there's no cinnamon in this product. It's just vanilla whey. As I used it more, I discovered the vanilla taste is more like a burnt vanilla taste. It reminds me of a slightly caramelized vanilla taste combined with a burnt vanilla taste, with some vanilla bean or madascar vanilla. The flavor is unique but I actually like it b/c imo it's rich and full bodied. I feel like it's a thick vanilla - it's honestly not bad at all.

It mixes well and I don't get any clumps. (I use a personal sized, portable rechargeable blender and I blend for about 5 seconds.) I've only tried it with cold liquids as that is what my morning routine consists of.

It's a good quality whey that uses very little Sucralose and gums. It's not thick like BodyTech. It's like the happy medium b/t Levels and BodyTech. Of course then again thickness depends on liquid amount and that's gonna come down to personal preference I think. I don't find mine to be thick.

The Sucralose factor - I honestly HATE whey's that use Sucralose as I prefer stevia, but this one uses 1g and it's not overly sweet at all like Farm Fed is. I don't taste the Sucralose in it, I just taste the rich vanilla. so that's good, but I do prefer stevia and I would like to see them switch to stevia in the future. I also wish they were grass-fed as they are not.

If you can get it on sale, try it out. I don't think you will be disappointed, but it will get pricy if you end up liking it due to the price point/serving size. I deducted a star due to it not being grass-fed/stevia. elsewise it is a 5 star product.

My morning routine is as follows:

1 scoop whey preferably grass-fed (which AN is not :(
1 packet decaf Starbucks coffee (ital roast)
1 packet youtheory collagen
12-16oz unsweetened vanilla almond milk

If I have to doctor it up, I use a sugar-free torani syrup - I have all diff flavors.
