Comments about YS Royal Jelly/Honey Bee Bee Pollen Whole Granules - 16 Ounces Granules:

After allergy testing* with ¼ tsp. for two days, I started eating one tsp./day on empty stomach each morning to help with a congestive cough I have from bronchiectasis. I also wanted to see if it would help my red eyes and runny nose. After a few days, I noticed my cough completely DISAPPEARED, and my nose and eyes cleared up! I now take 1 heaping Tbsp. each morning on an empty stomach and, sometimes, another in the evening.
I keep it REFRIGERATED and eat it raw so it will not be altered. I had previously taken bee pollen powder from a beekeeper in Santa Fe to help with oxygenation due to altitude. It was and still is AMAZINGLY EFFECTIVE!
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE BEE POLLEN GRANULES TO ALL OF YOU.
THESE GRANULES ARE MORE EFFECTIVE THAN TABLETS OR CAPSULES.
*PLEASE DO BE SURE TO TEST YOURSELF AND/OR YOUR CHILDREN FOR ANY ALLERGIC REACTION BEFORE INCREASING THE AMOUNT.

Comments about YS Royal Jelly/Honey Bee Bee Pollen Whole Granules - 16 Ounces Granules:

Bee Pollen Granules have so many health benefits that you should google it for more info. We bought these to take because of those benefits but also because we hoped to have some allergy relief this coming allergy season. We are on our second large bottle of them and I like taking them when I know how healthy they are for me!

Comments about YS Royal Jelly/Honey Bee Bee Pollen Whole Granules - 16 Ounces Granules:

I gave 5 stars because I love this business I just found. I have always wanted to try bee pollen but because of the expense never have. I ordered the coconut oil which I use all the time and when I ran out found "The Vitamin Shop" sells it cheaper and FREE shipping on orders over $25.00. The coconut oil was just shy of $25.00 so in order to get the free shipping I had to order one more thing. That's when I decided to try the bee pollen. Got free shipping and also got to try what I have always wanted to try using the gas money I would of spent if I had went to the health food store to get just the coconut oil. Can't say whether it's a good product for me yet as I just bought it but so happy I got to try it finally thanks to this business.

Can you tell me if the pollen granules are unheated and fresh?
If not do you have fresh unheated bee pollen whole granules?
                  Thanks Jo

Best Answer: I believe they are uncooked and fresh when packed. I have used this brand for years. It is similar in taste to bee pollen that I used to get fresh.

Are YS brand bee products ORGANIC?
OR, does that company harvest from hives treated using chemicals and drugs, as so many commercial bee keepers resort to?
                  C C on Apr 12, 2014
Best Answer: Yes. According to the bottle, the granules are harvested from Y.S. Organic Bee Farms. I have used this brand for a few years, now. They are by far the best tasting out of all the other brands I have tried. I am guessing that is because they are organic and have not been exposed to any chemicals.

Do I have to chew the granules?
A Vitamin Shoppe customer on May 31, 2014
Best Answer: Nah just swallow that ish - but it's easier to take the encapsulated version... otherwise you get it all stuck on your tongue and have to swoosh it down with some water and pick it out of your teeth heh...

granted, you can take a larger amount this way... but, pick your poison

How is the pollen preserved after harvest?
                  Mary S on Feb 24, 2013
Best Answer: I assume it's naturally dried - no preservatives, and the lable says it's good until 1/2015. But I don't know the particulars. Perhaps this question is better directed at the company which harvests and packages it.
