Hilde C: This opens up the nasal passages which enables me to sleep MUCH better. It also helps should I begin to feel a cold coming on by opening up the nasal passages to allow for drainage. I can avoid colds this way. Also, be aware that to take more than 3 in 24 hours may make this medication backfire and clog the passages. I use it in the morning during my shower to increase its effectiveness...and it usually works for 24 hours. Apr 22, 2013
