Melatonin is a neurohormone produced in humans by the pineal gland. A favorite of travelers, it governs the body's circadian rhythms, helping the body ease into restful sleep. Melatonin is also a potent antioxidant.
Directions
One tablet at bedtime, one half tablet may be sufficient for some people. Do not take more than two tablets daily unless recommended by your physician. Place tablet under the tongue and allow to dissolve slowly, altering the position of the tablet to avoid prolonged contact with the same area.

Comments about Source Naturals Melatonin Orange Sublingual (2.5 MG) - 120 Sublingual Tablets:
I have been using this on a doctor's recommendation - for over 15 years. I do not wake up groggy, and can take it in the middle of the night if I wake up and have trouble getting back to sleep. Don't know what I'd do without it. Sublingual seems to work best for me compared to just swallowing pills of melatonin.
I take one about 1 hour before bed, and another right at bedtime. I can count on it, and my dosage has not increased with use - still 2 pills. I started with one pill at bedtime, but with high stress I do add the earlier one. This is the only brand I use.
