Horny Goat weed (epimedium) has been renowned in China for ages, as an aphrodisiac, a kidney yang restorative, and a liver tonic herb. Epimedium is combined with a synergistic blend of potent Chinese herbs, traditionally used to help support the health function of kidney, liver and heart, and to promote healthy levels of natural energy. The Chinese believe that the kidney stores the essential energy (ching), which they regard as supporting the vitality of life and sexual vitality. Stress and the hectic modern lifestyle are considered to diminish the ching, and Chinese herbalists often recommend periodic restorative yang tonics to both men and women. Regular tonification of kidney and liver was believed to contribute to good health and longevity. The traditional time-tested way to use these beneficial herbs was brewed as a tea.
Directions
Pour 1 cup of boiling water over a tea bag. Let steep 10-15 minutes or longer. Squeeze tea bag gently into the cup. Leave in cup as drinking. For best results, drink before bedtime. For stronger flavor and effect, steep longer, or use 2 tea bags. A tea bag can be re-used to extract more herbal benefits. For a delicious change, try it with honey, or your favorite sweetner.

I came across this tea while purchasing another, in the brand, Cold and Flu Time, and I decided to give it a try based on the other reviews made by men. I am female, and I am here to say that, It works!. If you are female, and are having issues, please give this tea a try. I was pleasantly surprised! This is another of the brand I won't be without. I have also recommended this tea to family and friends of both sexes.

I really like the taste of this tea. I am not sure why there is a caution on that. Very nice to drink in the afternoon. It also perks you up but not in the caffeine sense. As it says on the box, improves your "Yang". I find this tea to be a great value. It is hard to find in the grocery stores.

I agree the tea does not taste very good. I just shoot it down like a shot. However, it has amazing results. If it tasted better I would give it 5 stars. It holds many qualities. It truly does make you feel more energized and actually helps with "intimacy". If you feel like you are getting sick and you drink this tea, it will definately boost your immune system. I write from experience. I would highly recommend this tea. It's worth a try. Even if it's not for you, you didn't have to spend much money.

I think this is a high quality product and it smelled and tasted fresh to me. I do remember liking the taste so I'm buying another box. I'm not sure what to compare it to... maybe a cross between siberian ginseng and a hay/grass flavor, yet with more complexity an uniqueness. Not too strong. It is a tonic herb meaning it builds up your kidneys and liver.
