I have been usign Xclear Xylitol for last 4 years and I must say that it is the best sugar substitute out there in the market. No after taste whatsoever.
I use it in tea/coffee, cooking and baking. My guests can't even tell if the food is made of regular sugar or Xylitol. I have two friends who are diabetic and they are also hooked up to this product after using it at my place.

Our first experience with Xylitol... mostly good, but it sure isn't cane sugar compatible for cooking. Cookies first, they came out quite cakey and crumbly. Apparently Xylitol doesn't carmelize like cane sugar so the cookies need something else to glue them together. Okaaaay, so brownies were the next try... brownies should be cakey, right? The brownies cooked so fast, ten minutes before they were supposed to be done they were overdone! Flavor was good, but who likes overdone brownies... they'll probably do quite nicely now that we know to bake them for a shorter period.

This is the 4th or 5th bag I've purchased. I primarily use it to assuage sweet cravings. I mix the powder with flavorings in a flat plastic storage container. I add water or juice and leave the mix covered with a paper towel to dry out. I stir it occasionally to break it up and wind up with something resembling rock candy, but more crumbly.

I've used Xylitol since September 2009 to avoid dental cavities, and it seems to be working, so this is why I keep using it despite the price, but I wonder why it costs so much. I drink hot tea with milk and Xylitol all day. Vitamin Shoppe has the best price and fast free shipping so they're my new supplier.

Does what I want. I have not had a cavity since using. Cheaper than the other brand. Taste like sugar. Do NOT NOT let dog have any, it can kill them.

This is the best thing to use for a sugar replacement! We've used it for many years now and absolutely love it. We started using it because my husband was diagnosed with cancer and there is some belief that cancer cells feed on sugar. I don't believe that has been medically verified, but why not do what we can? It tastes, measures and acts exactly as sugar, except it is actually good for you! Fights cavities instead of makes them! Low glycemic, less calories... Bakes perfectly... What's not to like? Everyone should use this for their own health.

I haven't received my order for XyloSweet yet, but because I once worked at Xlear, Inc., I know their quality is nothing but the best. I use this sweetener every single day -- not just for cereal or coffee, but for baking as well. I don't understand why most people don't use it instead of sugar every day. Price is a bit more than regular sugar, but I think our health is more important that that. Thanks for having this available to us, Vitamin Shoppe -- it is appreciated! I also use other Xlear products, like their toothpaste, chewing gum (Spry) and mints. and also they have a really good mouth wash -- won't be without it.

Tastes so much like sugar it's amazing. Use the same way as sugar. No after taste, No noticable difference in taste when cooking with this instead of sugar. Yet only 40% of the carbs, much less fattening and protects your teeth too. Lowest cost of all similar products but still pricey. On the other hand, when you compare to other types of sweeteners and how much you get for your money it's a good value in the bulk sizes. Served to guests for their coffee and had no idea it wasn't sugar. Even use it in my chinese cooking and can't tell the difference.
