Best Answer:  My intended use started out for just a short period of time (mostly when I did seasonal detox), however, there is just so much in our internal/external environments that need this type of balancing and protection. I therefore use it daily.

Garden of Life makes quality products and uses quality ingredients. You can drink it mixed in plain purified water or smoothies.

Best Answer:  I leave my alkalizer and detox in the cupboard. It said to put in a cool dry place.

Best Answer:  Well, it's only 25 calories per serving so not much... And what is there is not added processed sugar, it's sugar naturally in the plants...

Whats the best way to use this product? Do you mix it in with a smoothie?

Best Answer:  I have never tried it in a smoothie. I just mix it with water and drink it down. You could mix it with juice also. It has a mild "green" flavor with a kind of sweet lemony taste. The first time I tried it, I was pleasantly surprised because it didn't have that harsh grassy green taste I was used to with some other green powders. It is a good product.

Best Answer:  This particular product should be gluten free. I can't recall from the label specifically, but I do know that they emphasize only using the parts of the plant that don't contain gluten. Many of their products are GF. I've never experienced stomach irritation when using this. If it's not GF, you could return it. HTH, and I wish you good health and joy!

Best Answer:  I don't think so. It contains barley grass juice and wheat grass juice. Both of these grains contain gluten.
