Janet F S: The product in question is in 1000 mcg (or 1000 micrograms). 1000 mcg is equal to 1 mg (or 1 milligram). 1000 mg is equal to 1 gm (or 1 gram). Not sure if this answers your question. But the 1000 mcg of Methylcobalamin is equal to 1 mg. which is a good daily dose for B-12. The difference between 1 mg and 1000 mg is the 1000 mg is 1000 more than the 1. Mar 5, 2013
