Throwing up from both ends
This is the only brand of elderberry that has made me explode out of both ends. First I thought I ate something bad because I was so sick but I tried the product a second time about a week later and puking and diarrhea. Gonna try to return it. Idk how they process their elderberries or if I just got a bad batch but I'm gonna stick with other brands that have worked for me. I shouldn't feel like I have food poisoning from a medicine that's meant to make me feel better.

Received with a slight delay. It tastes a pleasant shade, long forgotten from childhood, wild elderberry, a little bitter, but overall, pleasant. It differs from syrup from other manufacturers in its concentration. Thanks.

Give it a chance
My friend told me about it last year 2019. I didn't purchase until now. Was catching something from my granddaughter and me I'm a diabetic. Can't risk getting sick. I believe in the VS Brand so got a bottle. Took 1st dose and started to feel better after 2-3hrs. No lie! It has a funky smell so you may think it will taste bad. It doesn't. Taste like water down, slightly sweet prune juice. You only mixing in 2oz of water. So not a lot to swallow. I will take every night until we are out of the cold weather and flu/cold season. Got my son taking it now.

Best Answer:  Of course they can. Just go with the same amount as you do for Nature's Way brand. Be warned: they probably won't like the taste. Nature's Way will taste a lot better to them, and they're more likely to take it without complaint.

Best Answer:  The label lists only Sambucus Nigra. It lists 24 servings and one serving is 2 teaspoons (4000 mg). The only other ingredients listed are vegetable glycerin and deionized water. We love this product. David--Old Bethpage NY

Is this supposed to be a dark brownish color? I've tried other products where it is a dark purplish color. Is this normal?

Best Answer:  The color does indeed present as a thick "brownish" liquid, with some purplish hues around the edges if poured onto a spoon. The brownish darkening may be due to effects of air once the bottle is opened. My feeling base on personal experience is that the product is safe to use.

Best Answer:  According to my cancer-care specialist (an MD with a PhD in Biochemistry), this product is absolutely safe taken as directed. I take one dose daily during the winter months, and if I feel cold symptoms coming on, I take 3 doses a day (as directed on the bottle). Have not had a full-on cold in 3 years following this regimen. I recommend it wholeheartedly.
