This formula is a great tasting natural remedy especially for children. It combines standardized, Bio-Certified black elderberry extract, echinacea angustifolia (root), echinacea purpurea (flower) and natural raspberry flavor in a base of fructose, purified water, vegetable-source glycerin and citric acid.

Directions
For Daily Maintenance: Children 2-6 years of age: Take 1 teaspoon (tsp) (5 mL) daily. Children 7 years of age and older: Take 2 teaspoons (10 mL) daily. For Intensive Use: Children 2-6 years of age: Take 1 teaspoon (5 mL) three times daily. Children 7 years of age and older: Take 2 teaspoons (10 mL) three times daily.

A good taste helps
My daughter loves this, she really loves the taste. I have tried others before but she didn?t like the taste of the others. I also like the fact that it keeps her immune system up.

The best sambucus!
We are a very healthy family but my toddler is in daycare but catches bugs every once in awhile. This is the only sambucus that she actually likes to drink and I swear it helps kick those nasty colds everytime. My husband and I recently got hit with a very nasty cold and we continued to keep her on this sambucus twice a day and she has only managed to get a minor runny nose. Awesome syrup love it a lot
my two kids use to get sick all the time, especially my son, i will get constant call from school to pick him up. but my daughter speech therapy told me about vitamin shoppe and i was happy to have chose to use sambucus. i give it to my kids every day. it works great also with typenol.natural is better. i will always use it. highly recommensws. and if you have autistic kids you will love this.

Works good!
This product worked with my daughter, she always got cold and development ear infection or bronquitis, since I gave her this product, no more bad colds, at the first symptons I gave her a strong dose and the cold is just for 1 day. I recommended. The only problem its too sweet.... and she complained about that.

LOVE THIS STUFF!!!!
At first I got one bottle last year for my kids and thought it was quite expensive. My kids got sick all the time last year because I was not consistent in giving them the daily amount due to the fact that I didnt want to spend so much money on another bottle. Everyone with a child should have this!
We tried this after my son's 2nd cold and it was gone in a day. He stayed healthy with maintenance through the winter. I even take it when I feel a little under the weather. We wouldn't be with out it.

Worth Every Penny!
When you compare the co-pays of three kids each month to one bottle of this stuff monthly I'd choose Elderberry every time. Getting sick is always a big deal in our house (asthmas kids). Since going on this last fall due to the H1N1 outbreak I have had the healthiest kids in town.

I live by this stuff
My son used to have colds that would induce asthma attacks. Since he was 1year old, it was hard to find anything that could be used to alleviate the cold so it wouldn't reach the level of causing asthma and coughing that would lead to vomiting. Sambucus is something that I began using since he was about 1.5yrs old, and he has had only a couple minor cold since then.

Pretty Good stuff
I have heard this stuff is amazing so I wanted to have it in stock in case my 2 year old was to get sick. He got a cold and I started giving him one tsp a day and he was over his cold in 5 days AND it never got worse than a runny nose!
