If you find yourself concerned about the taste of this variety of Isopure based on other reviews don't. By all accounts I'm considered to be picky regarding these matters but was pleasantly surprised with the Alpine Punch flavor. It's good alone, or mixed with other flavors and fruits.

I really really dislike vanilla and chocolate shakes. Even worse is that fake strawberry flavor. I just hate them all. So, out of the Isopure powders, this one was the best one for me. Now, it does not taste anything at all like the premixed drinks that come in glass bottles, which to me taste practically like more acidic Gatorade. However, it is quite a bit cheaper.

If you want an accurate description of the flavor, it basically tastes like those chewable Flintstone vitamins we used to take as kids. I happen to have liked that taste, so this works for me. Obviously not everyone will be a fan. I put it into a blender cup and after 10 seconds, it's fine. Putting it into a closed container and just shaking might not be enough for some people.

I've taken one serving every morning for 9 months now, and it has really helped me in building lean muscle.

This did not taste anything like punch. Although I like Isopure, I did not like this product. It was very chalky and tasted like medicine rather than punch. Regardless of how I mixed it (I use the Blender Ball, which is great), it still had clumps. I would not buy it again.

Best Protein I've used so far, it mixes very easily and doesn't clump up like other proteins I've had, tasts great and doesn't leave a "heavy" feeling whatsoever(although I only take a half scoop at a time). Compared to other protein mixes I've had this goes down just about as smooth as water, so it almost feels like your not really taking anything, lol. I don't get why a few people say it smells funny, I haven't noticed this. I take this with Cellmass Arctic Berry Blast for a post-workout drink and works great for recovery, they go great together as they have a similar flavor.

This stuff is not a cheap protein powder by any means, but it is well worth the money. The zero carb formula allows for use when carb cycling and does not leave you feeling bloated even after a few minutes of taking this. Nature's best does not hide any secret blends and tells you exactly what is in their product. Overall I have seen great lean muscle mass gains. I highly recommend this product.

I know ISOPURE is a good product but they really messed this up. It tastes horrible, dissolves horrible and now that some else mentioned it smells funky. I picked it up for a post workout shake looking for something not creamy or chocolaty. It still has that heavier taste I was trying to avoid and you have to choke it down.

After weight loss surgery I was expected to drink a daily protein shake. I tried many different brands and many different flavors. I discovered the Isopure bottled protein drinks and liked them very much but the cost was prohibitive considering I had to drink one every day. I discovered the powder version and I was hooked! The Alpine Punch is my favorite. You do need a special shaker cup and you will need to keep shaking it as you drink or the little particles will settle to the bottom of the cup. No biggie. I've also added it to smoothies for a change and that's very tasty as well. Keep in mind that the texture is not the same as the bottled version but is still an excellent product.

Isopure is a great brand all around and I have used many of the flavors of Whey Protein they offer and enjoyed them. Haven't found one yet that I couldn't drink...until this one. Alpine Punch is going to be liked by only a few people out there. Its tolerable but hands down the worst tasting flavor they have.

This stuff is not good at all and has a bad smell. I thought it would be like the premade bottles of isopure which are ok. This is nothing like those and just has a terrible taste. The big tub is in the trash.
