I am a retired WNBF, IFPA, USBF, NGA Pro Bodybuilder. Isopure is the only protein powder I ever use. It's made from Whey Protein Isolate peptides and the muscle tissue eat it up! Don't settle get the best.

Horrible taste.
Absolutely disgusting. It tastes like you're chemicals. I've been drinking protein powder for decades this is by far the worst I've ever had. If it didn't have sucralose I'd understand, but it does. I had no idea how this has good reviews.

Poor Vitamin Shoppe practice
My order was cancelled and I was not notified, I find this very poor practice on the part of the Vitamin Shoppe. I will not order from you again!! As for the product I have not clue.

Repulsive!
Did I get a bad batch? This stuff was AWFUL! My husband made me throw it out after he gagged on it. Worst flavor of any protein I've tried.

Lean and mean
This is my top choice for a lean protein.
It tastes great with water or Almond milk. It mixes well with cold liquids and most importantly it lean.
Low on Carbs, high on Whey Isolate.!

Can anyone verify if there is a version of this same product but without soy? The ingredient list on the website doesn't show it, but when I went in to a store and verified it, it showed soy lecithin as an ingredient.

Best Answer:  Everything I have read indicates that a strong dose of Protein after a work out is very beneficial. Having said that, getting your total protein intake daily is big when it comes to building muscle. I have used many different products over the years and find this one is best/good for me. It does contain Whey/lactose as do most protein supplements but I haven't had significant discomfort with that.

Is whey protein better than soy?

Best Answer:  I can only tell you my experience. I find soy to be very hard to digest. I used soy for many years before I changed to Isopure about 10 years ago. Isopure is very tasty and much easier for me to digest. Since it is an isolate, I don't have any problem with lactose intolerance.

Best Answer:  This product is lactose free. I'm lactose intolerant as well. I use it before and after my workouts and have no problems digesting it.
I think the increase in protein definitely helps recovery. You have to refuel. This product also contains BCAA and L Glutamine which are great suplements to help with recovery.

Best Answer:  I don't know what GMO even is but I do no there is no better product like this out there. Wellness docs, trainers, my primary doc all recommended this product. There is no sugar conversion and to my knowledge there is no other product that can make that claim. I take one scoop before a workout and one within an hour after a workout and it seems to almost eliminate soreness.
