Comments about the Vitamin Shoppe Bromelain 500 MG - 60 Tablets:

Take orally at the first sign of inflammation or mild pain. I keep some at home in case I crash my bicycle or work too hard at the gym. There no side effects, no stomach upset. However, it is not as powerful as prescription pain meds or muscle relaxers.

Comments about the Vitamin Shoppe Bromelain 500 MG - 60 Tablets:

I ordered this on 02/24/14. The product info tab specified that it would not contain "Yeast, Corn, Wheat, Sugar, Salt, Soy, Starch, Dairy, Citrus, Fish, Preservatives, Artificial Colors or Flavors" and based on it having no corn, like the same bottle I'd bought in-store a year before, I expected to get the same product. When it arrived the bottle packaging actually said it did not contain "Yeast, Wheat, Gluten, Sugar, Salt, Soy, Dairy, Citrus, Fish, Preservatives, Artificial Colors or Flavors" -- corn was not included in that list. I bought this expecting a corn-free product. This happened with another item in my shipment and it's happened with a different product before. If VS has new products with different ingredients, or the packaging changes, they should NOT list the products as being the same. Especially as people with food allergies shop at VS and pay their prices to protect ourselves from certain foods/ingredients/cross-contaminates. PLEASE read your packaging and update your online listings to reflect changes! This is three products, now. I could trust VS before but that's changing and that's incredibly unfortunate.

I was told by my pharmacist to take it on an empty stomach as an anti-inflammatory - so far it has helped
