  I will NOT live without turmeric. Have hip joint problems and it keeps the pain level manageable. I notice within 2 days when I don't take it, but it helps within 1 day as soon as I take it again. Been taking so long that I don't remember how long it took before feeling results. At almost 70, I've noticed that the brain is sharp again also, and just saw a report that it is good for that.
Also use White Willow (VS Brand) when pain is high. Works like aspirin without causing ringing of the ears

  I use it in conjunction with the medication Mobic or Meloxicam. When I stopped using the Curcumin for a while I noticed that there was more pain in my joints. I have some shoulder and hip pain, however, my primary pain is in my thumbs and knees. Besides the medication and the curcumin I also walk. I hope this helps.

  I use the Curcumin for general anti-inflammatory effect and it works great for that. Joint pain sounds more like you need glucosamine and that will take eight weeks (but worth it).

  I am not aware of any studies that have been conducted on Curcumin and breastfeeding in a trial or a lab.

  My son took it with chemo. Greatly reduced side effects. Added magnesium and it worked even better.

  I find it helps with some pain and inflamation in combination with ginger as well as relief from allergies after taking it for a year or so.

  I take it for reumatoid arthitis pain and it helps.
