Comments about TwinLab Brewers Yeast - 18 Ounces Powder:

I was reared in a health-conscious household so brewer's yeast has long been an important part of my diet. The taste, however, was a great drawback -- until I discovered TwinLabs' product, which I purchase in the 18-oz. jar (powder form). What a tremendous difference! The product is virtually undetectable in my morning "power smoothie", which now tastes like a treat. Amazingly, when I am in a hurry & need a quick energy boost, I can actually dissolve some in plain water & drink it "straight" -- something I could never have done w/other products. As a hypoglycemic, I look for products that will provide a sustained level of energy & TwinLabs Brewer's Yeast delivers! An added bonus: My cat loves it & her health has never been better -- no more allergies, beautiful fur, happy kitty. We love TwinLabs Brewer's Yeast!

          try an other brand

Comments about TwinLab Brewers Yeast - 18 Ounces Powder:

I have been using a oz of brewers yeast daily dissolved in milk for 35 years and have tired many brands thru the years. This is by far the worst product I have come across. It is difficult, if not impossible to dissolve sticking to your spoon glass and most disgusting your teeth. It is such a fin powder it clumps and easily become airborne. On the jar is say mild tastes, I guess this is a case of advertize what your not. If your looking for brewers yeast Lewis Labs or Solgar are both good products.

how does it taste? is it debittered or has it a normal good taste to eat it pure?
A Vitamin Shoppe customer on Oct 19, 2013
Best Answer: Taste is ok but taste is not too important to me. This is a very good product but they do add vitamins to it. I prefer the Lewis and KAL yeast but there seems to be a current yeast shortage.
