Best Answer:  Vitamin Shoppe Brand Astaxanthin is made from natural astaxanthin. Natural astaxanthin meaning derived from Haematococcus pluvialis microalgae and NOT derived from synthetic petroleum based sources. The Astaxanthin used is organic.

The ingredient listing does not say soy....but other ingredients says contains soy? Where is that? I try to avoid all soy.....please advise.
