SUGGESTED USE FOR ADULTS: Individual needs may vary. Start with approximately a half-teaspoon (1 g) daily and gradually increase to 2 teaspoons (4 g). If you don't like the taste -
For those that don't like the taste of the unflavored....dissolve in about 2-3 oz of warm water, let cool, hold your nose and take like a shot. I never taste it and don't have to dink a lot of liquid before bed.

Best Answer:  I do not have direct experience with Natural Calm and Autism. I use this product to calm my nervous system when I am overstimulated due to food, environmental or emotional toxicity and it works well for me. I notice a subtle gentle calming effect, a slight laxative effect (so dose carefully)and a cessation of periodic nighttime leg cramping.I ordered it for my 20-something children as a way to help them calm themselves from stressful overstimulated days at work. One notices a benefit, the other doesn't seem to. I first researched Magnesium deficiency online through a 2013 Mercola article and then followed up by going to Dr. Carolyn Dean's site, author of The Magnesium Miracle. You may want to experience the benefits first hand for yourself:) The Vitamin Shoppe definitely has the best price on this product. Hope this is helpful to you.

I have been suggested to give this to my 2 year old child. Wondering if the flavor free would change the taste of his milk to a sour type taste?

Best Answer:  Yes, mostly likely the unflavored Natural Calm will change the taste of milk. Perhaps you can mix the power in juice to make the magnesium more palatable. The amount of Natural Calm you mix in will also determine how "sour" a taste will come through. If mixing the recommended amount into juice has too strong of a taste, half the dose and have your child drink it twice a day. I hope this helps!
