I second the comments from Elaine K. No taste issue, but could be challenging for some kids to swallow, esp if they are younger, or tense up.

Most important....Make sure you have qualified medical advice on proper dose, including optimum DHA/EPA ratio, for your kids' age and application. (Ultimate Omega has higher amts than the average adult supplement.) EPA>DHa is recommended for some health concerns, while others might need DHA>EPA, or DHA=EPA.

  I love these because they do not taste (or smell) like other Omega products. My homeopathy doctor recommended this brand and I have been taking them for almost 2 years now however, I am not sure if they are safe for children.

  There is a children's version of Ultimate Omega that are smaller capsules and easier to swallow. The other option would be to go with the strawberry flavored children's line from Nordic Naturals.

  The capsules are really big and may be difficult for a child to swallow. I don't taste anything fishy from them.

  This is a great product; I use it every day and feel better for it. The capsules are fairly large, about the size of a Mike and Ike candy or a Good N Plenty, but they are easy to swallow. Their elongated shape and slipperiness when wet help a lot. Just be sure to take a sip of something first so your mouth is wet, wet the capsule in your mouth and then wash it down with a drink. I take four of these a day and there's no problem. Be well!

  Hi Stee--they are long not circular but the diameter is not as big as a penny by any means. They are on the large side but I have never had issues swallowing them but then I do not have a problem swallowing pills. The are a capsule but not like the kind where a powder is put into it. These are slick and for me, go down easy.

  I find Ultimate Omega easy to swallow. It's not a small pill, but it is a soft gel. I usually swallow all my supplements with almond milk rather than water.

  They are the size of the typical fish oil pills. Not small, that is for sure. They are the gelcaps which mades them a little sticky, but they are easier to swallow than any other pill its size.
